I bought this as a replacement for a 20-year-old Hsu sub. This is used in a 7.1 system in a room a bit bigger than the published specs the SVS was designed to handle. Plus, this model is better suited for a 2-channel audio system, so I was not certain how well it would work for surround. So far, very pleased as it outperforms the Hsu. I'm still adjusting it and the downloadable remote works great for making these adjustments. I first heard about the SVS brand at the 4th Annual Florida International Audio Expo in Tampa in February 2023. Highly recommended!

Great subwoofer, blends nicely for a seamless sound. Using in a smallish study ~ 200 sf. Item came a week earlier than scheduled or anticipated. Very nice. Salesperson was very helpful suggesting this speaker.

The bass for this is amazing. I was thinking of getting 2 but 1 is more than enough

Great sub for the money .customer support was the best I’ve ever experienced ( yes you actually get a person that is helpful) 5 year warranty , sounds great with music! Has a controlled bass not that booming sound. So why did I returned it, imo I don’t think it has that chest thumping sound for movies it sounds ok just not really strong. So I’m going with the PB1000 pro because it’s ported and I’m sure that will be the sound I was hoping for .

Sound is great. It really makes the surround sound. It is small and unassuming.

Pretty much what everyone is saying, it will deliver the rumble of the incoming spaceship before you hear it. This sub is to subsidize bass in the back of the room, Deftech BP9060s are up front. I essentially have to turn it down to less than half so Audyssey can even calibrate.I cannot imagine how much bass there would be if you got a larger version or a ported sub from them. Well made, not obscenely large. Its black.

This SVS sub is a great value at this price point. It replaces a Sony powered sub leftover from a kit I've had for years. Massive improvement and more adjustments than I have mental capacity to deal with. Nonetheless, easy setup integrating it into my current surround system with some trial and error.

The app is a nice touch, but I only used it once to set up the subwoofer. Regarding the quality of the sub, well, it's a sub. It produces good bass. It's much smaller than the cheaper ~$100 10 inch sub I have from Monoprice. I'm not an expert, but the SVS bass sounds tighter than the Monoprice sub, which it should since it's more than 3x its price.

A very good entry level subwoofer. Very accurate and punchy a great edition to my inexpensive audiophile system, it fills my medium sized listening room with the low end that was lacking. In my opinion there is not a better sub in this price point

No distortion at all unlike a klipch one i had but it felt almost negligible in its volume and its app wasnt difficult to understand for me as a newer person especially when certain settings can damage this very expensive device

I purchased two of these SVS SB-1000 Pro Subwoofers in white gloss. These subs produce a very deep bass range through extended notes. While one SB-1000 Pro is enough, two will strategically place and deliver bass to the listeners ears and move enough air to feel it all over your body.

I have a nice system, consisting of an audio lab 6000 integrated amp, a WiiM streamer, an external DAC and b&w 606 speakers. It needed a little punch. This sub was a perfect compliment.

Adds the right amount of low end for two channel listening. Very musical. Controlling the sub via the app is a great feature. I was skeptical at first, but glad I decided to take the plunge.

This product by SVS packs a punch. Very happy with the product.
