Excellent sub and really nice Bluetooth control with phone app. Easy set up. No complaints. Fantastic bass system. You won’t be disappointed if you choose this speaker. SVS will be my go to for future sub woofer systems.

I purchased this 13" sub because of the Freq. Response range of 18-270Hz ±3 dB. Since this is only about $200-$300 more than a 12" sub, I was willing to pay for 2 more Hz' because a lot of 12" sub have a 20hz response on the low end. Those 2Hz make a big difference if you enjoy movies like we do.

This subwoofer is everything they say it is. I've had a few subwoofers ( Veloydne F1500R, JBL L8400, JBL S120P, and a few others. But nothing comes close to this sub for "Brute-Finesse"!

Needed a new sub for Large living room. This sub more than does the job. Can really feel the Base in the kitchen and dining room now. Love the SVS subwoofers I have.

I purchased two of these. They are excellent for music because they are so tight and accurate. Great for home theater as well.

Not as powerful as I thought. Going to buy pb 4000 ported 1200 watt. Maybe that will work in my large room.

the subwoofer makes a loud rattling noise coming from the driver. had to turn it off for the noise to stop, tried different subwoofer cables, no luck. Planning to take it back to Best buy to replace it with a new one. Purchased in September, installed in October 22nd.

A must have if you like two channel music

I have been into old school two channel music for some time now. I have a very nice setup with a great tube amp and high end speakers. I also listen to a lot of vinyl on my new turntable . What I was missing was that low end bass. After a lot of research and a lot of demoing different subs I went with the SVS SB3000 and I have to say I am totally happy with my choice. What a difference to my stereo sound this sub took my sound to he next stratosphere. SVS will tell you how to set the parameters according to what kind of main speakers you have. The SVS customer service was second to none and are available 24/7 . I would give this sub ten stares if they had that option.

    Great subwoofer for size

i got this sub almost 2 weeks after ordering, this is very heavy to move around. i mostly pushed box to the place where it needs to be installed I installed the extra feet (SVS sound isolation feet) to isolate the subwoofer from floor so my pictures on walls do' rattle or make sounds. I opted for Sealed sub because of size, ported is too big to hide in my case, they go deep though. i am replacing Deftech super cube 6000, i might keep it as second unit, not sure yet. i am not driving this at high volumes yet need to give some time to break in, specs on paper and reviews SB3000 is one of the excellent subs, my other experience with sub is Paradigm X12 which is beast of sub in my other system where i have room to hide it. so far i have played some music and couple of movies. noticed the bass i every tight not too boomy at all. i will eventually do DIRAC Live calibration via my Lexicon AVR to tune it to best possible way. SVS app is also very good to tune everything without going to Subwoofer.

Ok, I purchased two SB3000s almost two years ago. They sound great, best I’ve ever owned after going throug Sony, Infinity and Klipsch. Great for both music and movies. I have a Marantz-driven 7.2.4 system and these round it out.

    Noise Floor

    Posted .

Let me preface this conversation by stating that I have Vulcan ears. Let me also say that I once worked in a very high end audio shop in Mt. View, CA. . . Muons, Blades, $55k turntables, etc. Hence, I have some mild experience & have heard all manner of audio equip. Currently, my entire home theater is SVS ultra. . . towers, center, surrounds. I have had the SVS SB-1000s, then upgraded to 2000 Pro. With respect to the aforementioned 2, yes I could hear a very mild and/or faint noise floor with my ear right on top of the cone. However, when I backed away to the listening position (10'-12') it disappeared. I then decided to take a step up using the SVS upgrade program to the SB-3000s. The noise floor on these was nearly twice as audible, & I could most definitely hear them from the listening position. SVS sent me 2 amps. One was DOA, & the 2nd was a tad worse than the originals. I was told that the SB-4000 & Ultras don't have this issue. Strange how the "monkey-in -the-middle" of their lineup is the only one to have that issue. I was told by someone @ SVS that most people don't have a problem with noise floor in the 3000s, or don't care. Further, I was told that I am in the 1% that can hear it. I guess they don't engineer it for the minority that have exceptional hearing. I suppose my "OCD" is some form of disability. Isn't that some form of racism? ;) Needless to say, I sent them back & reinstated the SB-2000 Pros to my system. On a positive note, SVS did say they would keep my upgrade program open indefinitely until they can resolve the issue.
