Excellent sound and solid bass. Great quality and workmanship

Best Buy does carry some high end theater components that are not in most of the stores. This SVS subwoofer compliments my other subwoofer that is a little larger. I wanted the “kick” feel when there is an explosion or a punch. It delivers. Easy to use app.

Purchased a B&W DB4S but was just not getting what I wanted out of it! Decided to give SVS a try as I hear nothing but good things about. Went with the SB4000 because of the display and the power it offer and I must say, it did not disappoint. This thing shakes the my house at 50%. User friendly app allows you to customize to your taste. Give it a try... you don’t be disappointed!

This subwoofer is amazing. It definitely has a different sound than your typical subwoofers you see in stores. It had a fuller deeper sound than anything I've heard. Slams hard when asked but sunle and detailed as well. Its heavy! Be prepared to have a friend help move this thing. The SVS isopath feet are a must with this. For the size and output and over all power this thing can't be touched.

First, I want to give a shout out to Philip Pickett at The Woodlands, TX store for a great round of customer support. Through discussion with Philip, I purchased an SB-4000 to mate to an already existing SB-3000 in my home. While the SB-3000 is great, the SB-4000 and second unit added to the depth and coverage of bass throughout my listening area. The sealed units are so tight, and the bass of such high quality - I'm just thrilled. My floor speakers are bi-amped and pound out bass on their own - I needed the punch of the SB-4000 to mate to the floor speakers to properly emphasize the low end. Only problem, now I need a second matching SB-4000, and another home for the SB-3000. The impact a quality bass speaker adds to your system, it cannot be understated. Reach in your pocket, you will not regret it. Thanks Philip!

This subwoofer is hands-down the best one I've ever owned! The frequencies that this thing can pick up our amazing! I have never literally felt my floor and couch shake and Rumble as much as I have with this subwoofer. And definitely with the Star Wars Last Jedi and the force awakens they have so much hidden low frequencies in those movies I had no idea existed but the subwoofer was worth every penny that I paid for it I'm definitely going to buy a second one!

Awesome build quality with great sound. Looks awesome too. Only real cons are the weight (this thing is really heavy) and the constant dusting required to keep them clean (for the black gloss at any rate).

Awesome!!!!!! I hogjly recommend, must purchase for any serious audiophile. Makes whole system 3 notches better, every note is emphasized, not just bass.

Great sounding subwoofer, sounds great for both music and movies. Was considering ported enclosure but definitely glade i went with this unit.

I just can't believe these SVS subs. They are fantastic. I mean they are head over heals better than the competition. To top it all off they are less expensive than the competition! And when I say they are fantastic I mean not only in the quality of the bass but the power. It conveys the lower end of the music beautifully but when it needs to, it really can POUND! I've heard many, many subs and SVS sounds better than all of them by a long shot. I'd like to listen to a REL as they say those are really top end but then they cost 8X as much.

Awesome subwoofer! Very heavy but has great sound. Also put the subwoofer app on my phone so I can control it in my seat while watching a movie.

Simply breathtaking. I have this sub paired with some Def Tech BP 7006 fronts. The EQ on the SVS app is an excellent tool to set up. It is easy to set the subs volume to blend in with the front speakers.

Great sounding , well rounded sub. Gives enough slam for movies and ranks very high in the WAF acceptance factor. I highly recommend!!

This is a bad a** subwoofer, no complaints at all. You can control and tweek the sound from your phone.

I've been wanting to upgrade to the SVS SB16 Ultra, but unfortunately no one ships these to Alaska. I "setttled" for the SB4000 but I'm not disappointed, this thing is a beast.

Best premium sub out there for the money. I now have a pair of 4000s.

This is the second sb4000 sub I added to my set-up. Definitely worth it
