They were fully charged for the 12 hours before they rode them. The 1st one lasted for a day and 1/2 of riding and then after being fully charged it would not turn on at all so we returned it. The 2nd lasted another day and the exact same thing happened so it also got returned. I would not recommend this scooter.

You can't really control it... it just kicks in once you hit a certain speed. Not worth it.

Do NOT buy! Died within a month.

He was able to use it just a handful of times before it finally quit working. We took a chance, knowing that other reviewers had reported issues. Sure enough, it stopped working less than a month later. Save your money and spend it on a better quality product. To make matters worse, this is now outside of the return window so we can't even return or exchange it.

We charged it up & the first time using it, the hinge point broke! My daughter is 11 & only about 75 lbs. This was rated to at least 150 lbs. No reason for this to happen! I have not contavted a customer service # yet.
