Initially, I was a bit disappointed that I was having trouble with the camera. It installed very easily, and I was up and running within minutes... I thought! Within seconds, my phone was buzzing with notifications that there had been activity (me standing in front of it, adjusting the lights) but as soon as I tapped on one, it took me to an "Activity" page that was blank. There were a pretty good number of notifications, but still nothing on the activity page. I went through all the troubleshooting ideas I could find online and in the literature that came with the camera. Finally, I broke down and emailed Swann's tech support. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a reply back within hours on a weekend! The tech support person that helped me went through several things I could try to fix the camera and then let me know that they had found a fix and a new firmware was being released that would fix the issue. Sure enough, a day or two later, my camera updated and the "Activity" page has all of my videos on it. The floodlights themselves are great, very bright and adjustable so that I don't blind my neighbors. I have them on my front porch, so I pointed them up into the eaves so my porch seems like daytime all the time, but it never shines out into the road or anyone's houses. The camera is about what I expected from a 1080p resolution, decent details, but nothing too exciting. It does do a great job of adjusting to changing light and other conditions, switching from IR to color even in the middle of a video if the lighting is sufficient. I had a hanging flower pot about five feet in front of it, but the glare was really messing with the camera. Moving the plant on down the patio fixed that issue effortlessly. There are some features that I wish it shipped with, such as scheduling, but I will see if I can get IFTTT to take care of it for me one of these days when I have time to mess with it. It is really nice to be able to check for packages, visitors and other things when I am not home. The two way audio is a bit delayed, but is usable if you are patient. I have played with the siren also, but am not sure it is really useful when the cats trigger the camera so often. I'll rely on my interior security system for that. Overall, I am now very happy with the camera/floodlight system. I wouldn't mind putting a couple more around the house. If you are in the market for a simple security camera and floodlight, this one fills almost all the needs in one box.

I have a 4 camera/DVR set from Swann. This is a nice addition to that. The camera produces good video and the lighting is excellent for this floodlight model. Installation was easy with the limited instruction manual it comes with. The light is excellent quality and range. I like daylight LED's which is what this model has. The build quality feels solid and durable. The only painful, frustrating issue with this camera/floodlight is the pairing with the Safe by Swann app. I was very difficult pairing my phone app to this camera using either iOS and Android. It either did not detect the SSID or could not connect to the camera once detected. Also customer service is very limited. If it were for customer service I would not buy this floodlight/Camera

I have used the Swann Floodlight the past two weeks. It works great. I have it setup so it comes on at night, but have options to turn the camera on at night, when I am away or at all times. the video is very clear including at 3am when I tested it to verify the quality of the video. I am a fan of the light and the ease of use for setting it up and installation.

First off, the Swann WiFi Floodlight Security Camera was packaged very well. All the pieces were in the box, plus clear instructions on preparation for installation and for the actual installation and "first use". The unit is well-made. Heavy metal casing and sturdy thumb-nuts for securing the flood lights and movement sensor in-place. It should stand up to the harshest of climates; mine was placed facing west, which gets the full afternoon/evening sun in AZ. The flood lights are very bright and when on, shed light beyond the boundaries of my backyard. Luckily, I have no neighbors behind me! My only issue is the WiFi connection. Where I placed the unit (and where it's needed), is the farthest away from my modem/router, and I have no cure for that based on the construction on my home. I might try to purchase an extender so the signal will reach to the Swann unit. I also wasn't prepared for having to hard wire the Swann unit to an electrical junction box ... which I had none on the exterior of my home. This one thing should have been made crystal clear in the product description because it does affect installation. We ended up wiring it to an extension cord, which seems to work ok for now. The sensor easily and accurately reacts when something moves in front of the unit; the lights come on and I get notified. The alarm is loud and I disabled it because of my neighbors. We do plan to move the Swann unit to our secondary home that has electrical and internet within a couple of feet, plus we need the security at that home versus where we live full-time. Overall, its a nice security flood light and I look forward to trouble-free use!

I'm good with tech and never had an issue where I couldn't set up a device, but apparently I'm the odd one out who couldn't get this camera to set up properly. It couldn't locate any networks and can't pair the camera in the app. I went through three cameras, tried it on my iPhone 8 Plus, iPad, and my old Galaxy S6, and even tried it on my Netgear Orbi and an Assus router. Tech support went through it and they couldn't make it work either. I was told that it seems to be an issue with the app not working properly and to use a newer phone that was released within a year. I wanted to review this camera properly, but at that point I gave up.

I am very pleased with the floodlight and camera. You will need to have a WiFi extender if you install it far away from your router. This camera records great footages. Best of all, you will get free two days of cloud storage.

We purchased this product for the front of our store. To ensure proper installation, we paid a licensed electrician $400 to install (hard wire). Ever since installation we've had to reboot multiple times. Now we have discovered that the siren is so low it wouldn't scare a cat. When we call, we get someone from outside the USA who's accent is difficult to understand. Most recently, we were told to take a video at various distances from the camera and then send to Swann. This request is ridiculously time consuming on our part. We may just pay to have the system replaced with something that actually works and protects our property consistently.

This camera has an absolutely horrible wifi connection compared to my Nest cameras and even my battery powered Arlo cameras. I have a Nest cam at TWICE the distance that is streaming without difficulty as well as an Arlo cam that is ten feet away that gives an excellent picture. The live view on this camera only works occasionally. Signal strength is measured at 63%. I really hope they fix this with a firmware update (mine is up to date as of today) otherwise I can't use it.

Mine worked ok for about a month, then it went "offline" by itself when I was gone on a two week out of town for work. Came home and reset it, repaired it, got it all back up and running, and a few weeks later it goes "offline" again. I reset it, tried to repair it, and it will not recognise my Wi-fi anymore... I've reset my wifi router about 10 times, and I even went out and bought a new phone because my old Galaxy S5 was kind of old, and I thought that might have been the problem. But now I have a new Galaxy Note 10+ and the camera still won't finish paring. It will go to the step where it see's that there are wi-fi networks available, but it won't list them or connect to any of them. I see negative reviews of this system all over the internet. Swann should issue a recall or replace everyones camera with one that actually works. I can't believe they would release such an unbaked product out into the market. I will never waste my money on anything made by Swann again.

As with everything they sell, your delivery will always be delayed. They don't like selling things on sale online.
