From the picture to the features. The only thing I do not favor is not being able to customize the display according to the number of cameras you own. I only have 6 cameras, so would only like for 6 to display. Not a deal breaker though.

It was returned, not because it was bad but because the specs stated Pan & Tilt. It is NOT. The store was made aware of the error and product was returned with the installer.

Wiring will rake the longest time. Also the cameras are made from plastic so strictly indoors unless you have some sort of shield to prevent plastic from getting weathered. Still 5:5 stars since it the one of the few camera systems that doesn’t require a cloud subscription and also the app it pretty well made. The feed almost never drops. I would recommend this for indoor use as a business owner. You could use it for home, I would recommend you watch a few how to videos on bnc wires and also cctv camera placement beforehand.

Two cameras died in that time, and the software had very poor English and wouldn't let you set the time remotely, but it mostly worked. I purchased this system because it advertised IR detection and a spotlight. The old system could not trigger an alarm at night because it had no IR sensor, so I hoped the IR sensor on the new version would resolve this, and turn on a spotlight at night. I read one review where a buyer stated after a firmware upgrade that the spotlight feature disappeared. I saw a "Deterrent" tab in the software the first couple hours of use. When I was having trouble being detected after dark (I could stand right in front of it, and it wouldn't trigger unless I shined a flashlight directly at it), I changed some settings and rebooted the system. The "Deterrent" tab is now gone- meaning the spotlight and audible alarm feature I brought this version for, are now inaccessible. And I was unable to connect to comcast. Reading online, others have had to resort to Gmail and Yahoo to connect. What a mistake.

When we bought the system, our neighborhood was having some issues with theft. I believe by just having the cameras displayed in visible areas we were able to avoid some issues our neighbors experienced. The picture quality is great and the set up was relatively simple.
