Great video quality but would like it to have sound

System is pretty good along with the App. The cameras suck. About 6 months of having it the night led started flickering. The warranty process blows. You need to take pictures of the camera outside and then a picture of the damaged camera inside on the screen. My kid was sick in the hospital with a rare disease so this was a big inconvenience to do. Anyway a year later 3 of the 4 cameras the night light doesn't work, and now the 4 one is flashing at night, as if you're and a dance club with strobes flashing.

Tedious but easy set up- the app is garbage. Can easily identify recordings. Many are duplicated. Can’t come tell cameras too much from it. They do not have audio! We’ve tried everything to set up from main control panel and nada. Camera quality is ok. We did our research so we expected better

The Swann 8 Channel 1TB, 4x 1080p Enforcer™ Cameras & Powered Wifi Auto Tracking Camera is quite a package. Everything is included except the HDMI capable TV/Display/Monitor. During the unpack, literally everything needed was included, even the HDMI cable. I like the fact that many security stickers were included. As with any wired security system, you do have to run the wires from the control box to the cameras, but it really isn't too difficult, considering the cameras are high mount locations that don't require multiple fishing wires down the wall. It comes with 4 HD cameras and capability to add an additional 4 cameras. The included terabyte hard drive will provide plenty of recordings and the default setting to auto overwrite when full, makes it a seamless security system. Cameras record in color even under low light conditions. My previous security system camera goes to black and white under low light conditions. A power supply is also included to include a flood light (?) that auto turns on when low light is detected. That is nice feature, however, I wonder how long of a life span the LED's have? For instance, the LED's would be on constantly if the camera was used in a dark storeroom. Setup was a breeze with the wizard guiding and prompting you along the process. Just like installing any drivers or apps on a computer. Download the Swann Security app and easily connect by scanning the QRC code on the controller. The included Powered WIfi Auto-Tracking camera was literally plug and play, once the Swann App was downloaded. You just have to sync it up to the app. Mounting options are plenty withe Wifi Auto Tracking camera. Leave it on it's pedestal, wall mount via a magnetic wall plate..It's a great camera for the living room or wherever you want to track movement on a wide view/panorama up to 180 degree. Works great with daylight/light source, however low light conditions it falters. But combined with the other Swann Cameras, it is quite a nice combination. It's a good way to see which dog is actually the bad one lol. The Swann 8 Channel 1TB, 4x 1080p Enforcer™ Cameras & Powered Wifi Auto Tracking Camera combo actually complements each other very well, and setup and use was super easy, super quick. Haven't had any issues viewing the cameras and auto tracking camera through the Swann Security app. The siren and flashing light features are a nice touch to an already nice security system. Don't let installation scare you. Running wires in the attic or across ceiling panels aren't that bad. unless you have a low roof line! I definitely recommend this for ease of setup and use!

This product states it has 2 way audio it does inside camera. To get tech support it’s a hassle. It would be great if it had audio on the outside as well. But hey if some people are breaking in your home at least you can tell your family run to the intruders.

Will be returning this system it states that it records audio and it does not there are no audio abilities from any of the cameras and the picture that you see in the ad from Best Buy’s shows the back of the DVR with four audio inputs that is not what they shipped After reading directions I said the system up before a permanent install which they suggested in the video looks good would keep it but I wanted audio specifically

The wired cameras aren't that bad but the wifi tracking camera it came with does not work. Will not connect to the internet.

Sadly, I got this system for our cabin in the mountains of Colorado but the recent wildfires have kept me from installing them since the area has been under evacuation orders and then the public access road was washed out. That said, permanent installation will have to wait a few weeks. This will be the 4th security system I have and it's important to note that pulling the cables will take a combination of time and trial, especially if you are not particularly experienced or handy. But deep breath and some understanding that it will take time and you can do this. Being unable to permanently install, I set this system up in my garage. Software was great. 1 TB hard drive will hold ample video. Overall video quality is as expected for a home-grade 1080p system. It's good but the 4K cameras (and required head-unit to support 4K) certainly offer better resolution but this is good for the 1080p. Features are as expected but a couple of the unique features are kind of gimicky. The red and blue lights are... I don't know. I mean I guess they would get ones attention but I don't know if a hardened criminal would be particularly impressed. Also the spotlight is bright for what it is, but don't expect a floodlight experience. I do like the uniqueness of the tracker camera and it's wifi. I will be putting that outside to watch wildlife when I can finally install after the fires and road access. In all, a solid choice for a residential system and I would recommend it to a friend.
