Security in a box. Great product

Everything from my vehicle to my home and everything in between. I’ve used many security systems throughout the years and I have to say that this system is top notch. It’s literally a security system in a box. This set came very well-packaged and included pretty much everything I needed for installation minus the tools. It even included the HDMI cable, 64gb memory card and a mouse. Depending on your setup, you should really only need a drill or screwdriver and a ladder if you’re mounting the cameras high up on your house. I planned to install this at my AirBNB but after reading the manuals and looking at the quality of the equipment, I’ve decided to use it at my own property. The cameras are very well made and have a little bit of weight to them. I would recommend fully charging them before you mount them and really look at the locations to make sure you have ample open sky so that they can charge. Due to some inclement weather, I couldn’t put these where I wanted to so instead I hooked them up just to see how they worked. The three things that I really like about this system is the subscription free security, the quality of the camera picture and the wireless range. Most wireless cameras have to be within 30’ feet or less of the hub. This system allowed me to put the camera on my shed and still get a strong signal. My shed is about 40’ from my house and the hub is located in my basement and connected to the TV. When I decided to try that location, I wasn’t optimistic that it would work, but I was extremely surprised that it did. The 4K picture is very clear and I can make out smaller details better than some of the other cameras I use. The app works really well also, which is an important feature to me because although I can see the cameras on my TV, 95% of the time I will use my phone. To summarize my experience so far, I would say this is a high quality system, packed with great features and is easy to setup. I have no complaints and would highly recommend this system. I charged them before putting them up and the solar panels have kept them full since. Though I don't need to go a great distance. Maybe it's my phone but the notification time could be a bit quicker. Hands down my favorite camera system

Its extremely easy to setup, the app works awesome, and the built in solar panels are hands down the best part. You don't have to pull them down and charge them all the time. The base station interface is simple to setup and pair to the app. The quality of camera is good and you can make out license plates easy.

Swann MaxRanger 4k

One camera is 250 yards away from the base station on our entrance gate and still has 2 bars. This is going through 1 exterior wall and trees! Solar panels working good so far as well. Highly recommend this system.

App is clunky and settings and camera actions do not always seems in sync (e.g. 'no notifications' still gets notifications). One of cameras has faulty battery and I am working with Swann to address. On balance, a very good camera and wifi causes no concern. Cameras have been up over 3 months and batteries have held up well.

4K Stands Out

Hopefully it's easier for better DIY'ers...! Overall, the price should be worth it with the 4K option, when I did have it working a very clear picture and great options for how to view and record footage.
