This product is a good product. Have used it indoors for the last 6months.

Great product I recommend this item to anyone no flaws

Interface is a little quirky, cameras do not look high def. Arlo had a much clearer picture. For the price it's not a bad buy.

The cameras had a clear picture however the program to view activity in to record activity was very complicated

As for price, could be a little cheaper. I found better deals on line. Needs to come with a in box remote control. Over all it is a decent system.

The instructions were hard to follow for setup. We have to go online and print out the full msnual for the intial setup.

Wired system without online backup storage. If someone is in, all they have to do is take a hard drive with them.

Camera is good for broad view, but not very detailed. Maybe we have it on the wrong setting? Overall ok camera.

It was a lot to set up and figure the set up. The mobile app could use some better instruction

I got my system for $200. Every now and then the cameras stay stuck on night vision (black and white) or I get the horizontal lines across the screen with video loss and screen flicker. I'm not sure why it's doing that and customer service had no clue and couldn't help me when I called Swann. When they do work the picture is very clear when you switch to the high definition, and the app works for me. The fact that the cameras sometime gets stuck in black and white and have other issues such as screen jumping or video loss makes me wonder how this is even happening. I moved the cameras to make sure it wasn't the cameras or the DVR so it must be the wires? Through the process of elimination I thought the cameras and DVR would be fine because the only thing I can think of now is just the wires? There seems to be some sort of electrical interference.? Can someone please help me with this? Let me know/comment if they have the same thing happening to them. Thank you.

The only thing I had to change was, I had to set the dvr to record all the time. The interface is simple, fast and very responsive. I did a lot of research on this product before purchasing it. The video quality is impeccable. The camera mounts gives you a lot of flexibility on angles and rotation of the camera. I just wish it was easier to fish wires through a attic.

If you wanna buy this camera just to watch from home then its good. I wouldn't recommend any swann cameras unless they update their app for viewing the camera on your phone or other portable devices.And the camera software is very outdated.

I replaced my Amcrest 960 H with this system, what a difference. My home was a target of a theft last summer, (stole my old ladies flowers that were in a pot) but I couldn't recognize the girls because the video was grainy. I decided to go with hi def because I also have neighbors that let their dog poop on our yard and now I have a good clear pictures of them in the act. I also caught a guy with a bag of poop walking up my drive way and tossing it in my garbage can. Surprising what goes on late at night or early mornings.

I purchased this system on a Thursday. Started connecting the cameras on Friday and Saturday. I tested all the camera's, first, by connecting all camera's on all 4 BNC ports to the DVR. Everything seemed good. So, then I started to run my cables to the locations and connected them to the DVR. I set the time/date and picture to 1920X1080P. I was having this DVR display on my OLED TV thru HDMI port 3. Everything was working fine for about a day and a half, then the DVR wouldn't display on the T.V. anymore. So I got in touch with BB and they sent me to Swann for tech support. I was on the phone with them for 2hrs before they told me that they will have to send me a new DVR. It quit displaying anything and the HDD light would constantly flash. It would flash, before, only when there was "motion' detected on one of the camera's. Didn't get two days out of the DVR before it went belly up. We'll see what happens next. I have sent Swann my receipt and my info to return for a new one.

Great camera system and easy to install. I can view from my IPhone and has a clear picture
