very simple to install and set up. just like everything today, instructions are limited. the reason for losing a star is because there is no literature with the product that instructs you on how to use the receiver.

We absolutely love this camera system. The resolution is really good and I'm able to view all cameras at once or one at a time. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the software to view past recordings is not very user friendly - but does work. Otherwise the system is very stable and the resolution is great. We had Best Buy install it. Not too impressed with their install crew because they weren't very proactive in finding solutions to run it through my attic. They ran it along the eaves outside but drilled holes that they didn't plug and now we have wasps in the attic because of it. Attention to detail is everything!

A surveillance security system is something I have been considering for many reasons - this system was a "best deal" and has some nice feature. Wish it came in brown. My house is more earthy tones.

The picture quality of the image is so clear. I had purchased a different brand and was not able to get a clear picture. You can see a persons tattoos and great face recognition also license plate. I have cameras installed in the front and backyard as well as 1 inside my home. Great night vision as well. I would definitely recommend this product

After looking at the pros and cons of wired vs. wireless, going wired was a no brainer as having to charge wireless cameras often and the glitches with connectivity, etc. were deal breakers. We recently set up this Swann system and the clarity is fantastic, mobile app. works great, etc. You can't go wrong with Swann based on all the reviews I read prior to purchase and now we see why they are so highly rated.

The cameras are really clear. The dvr is very good quality. The swannview plus software is the only thing i can complain about. It works when it wants to.

This was my second Swann systhem, love the easy set up took minutes to set up. Hardest part was fishing wires thru attic, everything else was a breeze. Plan to upgrade soon

Purchased for local not for profit organization. Works very well, good size recording capability. Good quality cameras and motion detection.

Bought system to replace an old Samsung camera system. App is better than old system, but still a little clunky. Using for looking at recordings can be difficult, but live view is fine. When I installed, I used longer cables from previous install and dedicated power supply for each camera due to length. Use Swann cables because my other cables would cause cameras to stop reporting even without power loss. Swapped and everything functions as intended. TLDR: Use Swann cables. App is decent for live view.

Great system!!! Had some difficulty hooking up the PC remote view, and the phone support was very good!

Purchased and installed this several months ago and I love it. As much as I love wireless I don’t think wireless surveillance systems have as much features, reliability, and ease of use (no battery swapping here). Set it and forget it. Plus monitor it remotely on the app!

The quality of this camera system is awesome and is very durable for all task I've needed it for.

After I completed the installation (I'd recommend having someone do it) and set up the DVR, the system has worked flawlessly with coverage out nearly 100' from my house. Playback and zoom function are pretty amazing. I can see who and what they're doing during the day out to max range. At night it is 60'+ but that's due to ambient light here not being sufficient to cover out the whole way. Still it covers 90% of my yard at night with great pictures and recordings.

Video is ok. Not that great. Nest has better quality image. It’s just more expensive.
