These cameras a very clear and the night vision on them is better than expected. Only way to get better would be to go with an ip camera system.

Video quality is very good out of these cameras, set up is very easy. However the software on the DVR is not the most intuitive. Also setting up remote viewing looked so difficult I called out an IT person to assist.

Just got it installed and all looks good. I have been around a lot of cameras and for a cheaper camera system this one is very nice.

Cameras are clear and memory rocks! And you can view it from your cell phone. Love it!

It works great and the cameras are clear just hate all the wires but it's great for the price. Wireless systems are easy 300 to 500 dollars more.

Love the system, the cameras are pretty clear. They took a while to install since its 8 of them, and also make sure to measure how much cable you will need, so that you may buy extra if needed. I do wish the recorder came with more memory, given that these are HD cameras and will take up more memory a lot quicker.

I like the cameras an the DVR. Picture is clear an set up well it's different for everyone depends on how you want to run the wire. Mine was a pain because I wanted to keep everything together stapled nicely. Only problem and annoying part is the app. If you want to see this off you phone or other device forget about it. The app is straight GARBAGE. If you must see it off location buy a different unit like ring. Other than that everything works as described.

Decided to go with Swann over others. Did not want to go wireless although its easier to install. Running the wires took some time. Camera quality is very good. DVR is easy to use. The phone app is actually not as bad as people say. Having 24 hr surveillance is worth the price of this system.

We are very pleased with these Swann Surveillance cameras that we have around our home and the fort/playhouse we built for our grandkids. We have had them in place for almost a year and a half. We are able to check, with our phones, from anywhere in the United States when we travel, what is going on around our place. These cameras give peace of mind besides trusting God to watch over, too. We highly recommend these Swann cameras.

The price makes this 1TB 1080P 8 camera DIY system ideal for anyone. The night vision is awsome and you can use extra infra-red sources to really light up the night. This is not a commercial unit. It is ideal for close quarters. The camera is fixed but the picture is great! Again for a small inexpensive off the self camera system it IS a very good purchase.

so far so good its doing what is asked of it. does not have night vision, but I did not purchase it
