After months of research to find the right cruiser ebike for my husband for Xmas, I decided on this Fleet ebike. It was supposed to be delivered assembled, so I could sneak it into the house and surprise my husband xmas morning. I purchased all the accessories - rack, panniers, helmet, and bell. That was his whole Christmas. From the start, nothing worked out. The geek squad had never built the bike before and were going to do it in my driveway with my husband home ruining the surprise I was hoping to pull off. Fail #1. So, I cancelled the assembly and opted to pick up the bike, wrap the box and move it myself into the house. He was so surprised and happy xmas morning and immediately started assembly. He’s a pro, having built two other ebikes from Ride1Up (great bikes, btw) a few months ago at our beach house, and I knew he would rather assemble himself in the end. However, for me the assembly would have ensured I could have avoided subsequent failures below because I could have verified the bike actually worked. After he fully charged the bike, we ventured out on our first ride. The bike’s peddle assist did not engage normally - it sputtered and was intermittent, and I did not feel it was safe to ride. Fail #2. Then started the several hour journey to get help from Best Buy on getting another bike ASAP, so we could enjoy our vacation days. Day 1, 2 calls, hold times of 1-2 hours, disconnect with no help. Fail #3. Day 2, hold times of 2+ hours, 4 transfers, finally reached A from Geek Squad who said there is a bike 20 miles away, they would deliver the next day, expect a call within the evening to schedule. No call. Nothing. Not even an email confirming the details of our convo. Fail #4. Now, we will return the bike to BB today and be done with this saga. It is a huge shame because he really loves the feel of the bike. He wanted a beach cruiser, and this thing is solid despite the technical issues. In the end tho, nothing should be this hard.

Bought this for my wife so she could keep up with me riding and now she leaves me. Good purchase.

I bought this bike for my 16 year old brother and he loved it, it’s pretty safe. Unfortunately this bike was stolen from our house months later but I would definitely recommend it!

Had the bike less than six months and the rear wheel is defective. Bike is under warranty but the company is denying responsibility saying rear wheel was assembled wrong. Well the rear wheel was installed already when the bike was shipped to me so should qualify for warranty replacement. Company does not stand behind the product. DO NOT BUY!!!!

Great bike. Took it on the bike trail and had a blast.

I got this bike with a big discount, so far I used it only once and I can say it’s worth it every penny, I don’t know if I would say the same paying full price but I like it.

We bought this for my husband to get to and from work. We live in a large metro area and it’s perfect for the bike lane. It is lighter than other ebikes, which makes it easy for him to carry into his office during the day.

Purchased this bike a few months ago as I wanted to give it a good go before reviewing. Rear wheel assembly with the motor broke and damaged the rim. As we're past the return period for Best Buy, we contacted the manufacturer. They refused to honor the warranty. DO NOT BUY

plenty of assembly, I've assembled dozens of bicycles in my life but never an E-bike, instructions are vague but printed in a very nice quality booklet, good paper quality, just not enough clear instructions for a novice. The battery indicator lights on the battery unit do not function so I contacted SWFT and after a few questions via email and about a week SwFT offered me the option to send the battery to them and upon receipt they would send me a new battery. Mind you this a new bike, it'll be a month before I can't confidently ride it any distance and that's only if nothing else goes wrong, are the mechanicals and electronics going to fail??? I'm thinking I'll just return it.

I loved everything about the bike but the rear brake assembly got little loose and after trying to fix, i was not able to fix it. I took to a cycle pro and he quickly figured out that the rear wheel is not TRUE as it wobbles sideways and touches the rear brake and which movement makes the brake assembly loose. If you tightened the brake too much, it rubs against the wheel. I am not sure why this happens to a brand new bike, ridden on the smoothest of streets possible with no potholes or any uneven path and that tool for only after 16 miles.

Bike is great and works really well even with no assist. Battery seems to be a little moody at times but when it is working well it lasts a good time. Hopefully there will not be any issues with it going forward because it is a really nice bike.

Will need to return the ebike and have new one shipped to store and have geek squad put it together and deliver it because it did not arrive with directions on how assembly and I took me several hours to attempt to place it all together without skipping steps. Otherwise, very attractive and eager for the replacement to arrive and get assembled then delivered.
