Such an awesome job at compartmentalizing this thing i'm astonished on how much fits in here.

I have a 17 inch notebook and it fits in the backpack but it's really tight to zip it up, could have made it a little taller so it wasn't so tight.

1st one lasted two years and the second lasted only 9 months. multiple Seams ripped (pictured) on the second one and shoulder strapped ripped from the base of the bag on the first one. Will not be buying a 3rd SwissGear product.

I absolutely love this backpack! It has multiple pockets of various size. It is lightweight and has a great size pocket for the laptop.

Poor corner fitment for 17.3" laptop. Not recomended for Area 51m R2. You will end up stretching material just to close the bag.

I really like Swiss backpacks. I always see the black colored ones. I purchased this as a gift for someone and they loved the color., the comfortability of carrying it and the amount of storage space in it. I have a black one for myself. The only thing missing on this is the compartment for glasses

This is my second Swiss bag use it for work travel and play. Very sturdy and dependable. Lots of space and great for organizing wether it is work or travel or camping. Best of all it keeps my computer safe from being damaged traveling to work or on long business trips. While the price is a bit steep the reliability and usefulness is worth the extra dollars. I am never surprised when I see another person in my travels and in my field as an accountant using the same Swiss bag. I have recommended this bag to many of my friends and work colleagues.

Love this backpack!!! So many pockets and a spot for all the essentials. Durable made well, love the padding in the back and it fits my 17inch Hp no problem. My go to travel backpack.

I bought this backpack in July 2023. I use to bring my laptop, notebooks, and other supplies/items to work with me 5x a week. I also use this backpack for traveling. So far it has held up very well, no issues, no problems. All the zippers still work great, no fraying or tearing of any stitching on the fabric & other material. I like that this backpack stands up and doesn't fall over when adding or removing items. The previous Eddie Bauer backpack which I used for many years didn't have that capability. Also, this SwissGear backpack has much better build quality and better and more durable materials than the previous EB model. Even though my work laptop is 15.5" and could fit in a smaller backpack, I wanted the larger option instead for more room & storage capacity. I also like the internal zipper pockets in the 2 smaller compartments, these are very helpful for keeping smaller items separate and more accessible. And the small zipper compartment at the top is great for items that need instant access, such as a wallet, keycard, etc. Note: Although this backpack's padded compartment area for the laptop might provide adequate protection, I always use a Targus laptop sleeve first, and then put the sleeve inside the backpack compartment for extra protection. So far so good & a definite improvement over the previous backpack. Hope it will hold up for several more years.

The Best Back Pack I have ever owned. I have very many electronics that I use for my work. A laptop and a Surface Pro, including all the power sources and cables. This Back Pack is really Great for storing and protecting the computer equipment. Well made zippers and numerous pouches for so many things. I have to remember where I put things because there are so many pouches available. I have been using backpacks for the past 21 years for my work as I travel all over the country. It stores easily in plane overhead compartments and is so comfortable with the extra straps to support your back. I weighed how much I carry around with me and it is close to 27lbs. With this Backpack it doesn't seem that heavy. I highly recommend it for professionals who travel a lot for their work or if you are a student as well.

I bought this backpack because I carry a lot many things for my classroom. It is very spacious and resistant. It has tons of pockets everywhere and it is very comfortable around the shoulders. Yes the price is a bit on the expensive side but it is worth every dollar

This thing holds everything! I had a Targus Breifcase for decades. It was so good they dont make them anymore. Had to start buying it on Ebay. This backpack is even better than my old Briefcase that I LOVED! If you wants a good backpack with plenty of storage and holds a 16" laptop and tablet with ease, along with powercords for both, you better get this before they stop making this one too!

This is an excellent backpack for anyone who wishes to carry a lot of gear/equipment/books/accessories on the go. This backpack will accommodate up to a 17 inch laptop however, it is going to be a tight squeeze. In the end I carry around a 15.6 inch laptop which leaves me plenty of room to spare. The pockets, zipper pockets and inner storage within each zipper pocket is unrivaled. This is quite possibly the best backpack that I’ve ever bought. The quality is excellent the durability is second to none. I have had this backpack for more than six months and it is taking everything I’ve thrown at it.

This backpack has been a life saver. It's durable and protective yet not too heavy. It has plenty of pockets and compartments for carrying accessories and personal items along with everything needed for my laptop. It's also cost efficient. I'm super happy and pleased with this purchase.

This bag is durable. It has so many compartments for everything I need for work. The inside extra padding keeps my laptop safe and secure. It's large space for my heavy PC laptop. The straps a soft and thick and adjustable.

I'm a 6.5ft and 250lbs guy! I use this backpack for everything. I put my laptop, textbooks, tablet, pens, wallet, glasses, cables, and so much more and I still have space. I knew I needed a very sturdy and solid backpack to hold everything I carry, and it can be extremelly heavy! That is my personal decision of course, but this thing can hold everything I need and its durability is beyond AWESOME! not to tell you that its got so many pockets and a handle that is composed of wires!!! I love this backpack and I hope it last me a long time (no doubt it will). Definitely worth the investment. I highly recommend it!!!!!

I travel a lot across the world and carry both my personal as well as office laptops :). The very last compartment can accomodate 2 laptops.. Hooorrraaaayyyy... I can stuff all my electronics like the chargers, cameras, water bottles, the maximum weight i loaded was around 15Kg. i was able to load so much weight and they are still in good shape and no stiches were worn out. it's been more than a year of rough usage. i would suggest this definitely for people who travel a lot and carry heavy loads.

Great backpack, extra cushion to protect laptop, I bought a sleeve for my 17" new laptop and this bag fits it with no issues, plenty of hiddlen packets, and very large compartments to carry cables and accesories, I carry a cubed power system and you can't even tell, I also carry a external hard drive in the once mesh compartment, just a super all around bag, the zippers are reinforced, quality all through the bag, great buy, you'll pay good money for it, but when you want to protect your investment in your laptop, it is worth every penny spent!!!

Backpack works really well. Love the cable handle. I don’t have to worry about it coming apart. Plenty of room. Love that the bottom is plastic so if something spills just wipe it up. The laptop protection is very good.

This is the best backpack I have ever purchased. I use it every day for work. I overload it all the time. My laptop is always safe. The first one I had lasted 3 years. This is my second of the same unit. It is stylish and durable. There is so much room in it, I can carry......pretty much as much stuff as my back will hold. This review is in 2022 and it is still going strong.
