Played with a half-dozen bags before settling on this one - the combination of smart pricing, great flexibility in the design, easy-operating zippers and TONS of storage made for a irresistible package. Transporting a pricey laptop always makes me a bit nervous but I have zero doubt this thing could take a hit and keep a compuer perfectly safe. Smart pockets abound and if anything, there's almost too many options as to where to put stuff - I can already see myself forgetting ehat I put in which pocket or sleeve. But that's a much better problem to have than having everything smashed together into a cluttered mess. Great design and expecting a lot of years of use out of this highly-touted brand!

I had never owned a backpack before, but needed one for college. I had looked at several in the stores over the months before buying so I could get an idea of the features I would like best. I found this one in a Best Buy and after reading all the reviews online, bought it. I am very happy with it. It has plenty of storage and pockets for everything I need to carry. I use a 13" laptop with a sleeve, and it fits in the bag easily. I don't have any of the problems I read about with the Velcro that secures the strap that closes the laptop compartment. I have no fraying, and have been using the backpack for over 6 weeks now. It is very comfortable to wear. It DOES have a luggage strap, although one review I read said it didn't. Love the strong wire handle. Love that there are two pockets on each side for water bottles, along with deep zipper pockets behind them. It does stand up on its own, which is nice. Generally, I can't find any fault with it. I am glad I bought it and take pleasure in using it everyday. I did look at the larger Swiss Gear backpack, but it is made for larger laptops, and I didn't need anything as big as that. Has plenty of space for pencils and pens, calculator and other accessories. I am very happy with my choice.

Quality backpack with sufficient large pockets. Material is durable. I’ve had it for over a year and it still looks new. I travel with it about 2 weeks of every month. Highly recommend!

I use my backpack as a container for everything I might ever need. This fits the bill. I already owned one and bought this as a backup because everything I like that works seems to be discontinued. I've had it for over 2 years and it's still perfect. I use it for protecting my ipad in the laptop pouch and it has a small padded zipper pocket that I keep my iphone and ipod in. There are enough pockets for everythingyou will carry.

my favorite backpack of all time. It has plenty of pockets to keep my stuff separated and can easily carry my Ipad and think pad without having to worry about breaking it. Its side pockets are big enough to fit a tumbler in, The front pockets are padded enough to fit cologne in.

Keeps my extra screen and laptop securely contained. Separate pockets for my required office paperwork, keys, pens, highlighters, correct tape, mouse/ mouse pad, phone charging core and cube/ power bank. Ideal storage space for my Otoscope, stethoscope, bandage scissors, hair ties, brush, water bottle and flavor packets. Everything securely separate and organized. I work between several worksites and my back pack is my mobile office. This bag does it all and keeps my screens safe from impact. I hesitated because it is not girly at all but it has been the best work bag EVER.

We bought the backpack for a trip to Jamaica and loved it. The bottom has a durable and washable which was important traveling. We loved he many different compartments which some were especially accessible too. It was about the right size needed also. It was the perfect size for my 15 inch laptop with room to spare and had the needed padding also. Overall, we are extremely happy with our purchase.

I had a SwissGear Pegasus before this model, but I downsized laptop sizes. I absolutely love SwissGear backpacks, never have had any issues with them. I only recommend these backpacks. The areas to hold your laptop is very secure and padded, and the amount of organized storage you get is simply amazing. If you're looking for a great investment, this bag is the way to go!

My last back pack was an Eddie Bauer and I purchased it in 2009, This new Swiss Gear - Synergy Laptop Backpack is built stringer than my previous one and has many more functional zippered pocked with on specially designed to carry my pens, mp3 player, voice recorder & many other standard odds & ends needed to get me through my day. It shows some thoght went into the making of this product as in the pocket there is a special places that seems to fit every item just perfecty. It has a total of 8 sippered pockes with 2 on the side for water bittles or whatever. The main area for storing your laptop or "newer tec'> has plenty of room for a nice 15" screen size. I can also store my 10" ablet as well. These are all well protected as there is extra padding in this area of the backpack. It also had very comfortable shock-absorbing shoulder straps as well as a handy dual handle system for flexible carrying options. I recommend this product to anyone who is in need of a new backpack or to simple upgrade to a better one than you already own and I am sure this one will last as long if not longer than my previous purchase 8 years ago.

Best backpack ever! I go out of my way to buy this backpack and Best Buy has the best deal i can find on it. I travel weekly for wirk and this fits my laptop, tablet, and everything i need to the plane. It is sturdy and i am not gentle with my backpacks.

This Swiss Gear backpack is light, sturdy, and well built for comfort and carrying ability. It has well designed compartments with solid padding for laptops, tablets, books and any other travel requirement. Sleek side compartments work well to support eyewear on both sides of the unit.

I found this backpack to be perfect for my needs - daily transportation of my laptop/headset to and from the office and occasional business trips where I need to also carry power supplies, keyboard, mouse, USB cabels, and a whole lot more. There's tons of space and a number of separate compartments to isolate items. There's also a handy top pocket that I use to store wallet/phone/watch while going through TSA - easy to access which provides quick access.

This is the 2nd backpack that my son has had since 1st grade and he's entering 7th grade. He had exactly this one and chose to buy it again. He loves all the pockets, how the cushion on the arms makes it so its easy to carry a full load. He can put his chromebook in there and theres inside padding so if it drops protects the unit. There's so many compartments as well. As a parent, I love the durability.

Perfect size for all my gear. This bag is exceptionally well made. The shoulder straps are positioned to hold the bag comfortably on your shoulders. I’ve had Swiss Gear before and it lasts years. This will be the last one I’ll ever need to buy. There are compartments for every conceivable gadget. You will not find a comparable bag for anywhere close to this price.

Excellent backpack with lots of room for pretty much everything. I’m a truck driver, and all of my computer accessories travel in my backpack. I pack an Alienware M16 R2, a 15” MacBook Pro, a Targus cooling pad, chargers for both computers, mice for both, a couple external hard drives, and all necessary cables into this backpack, along with my reading glasses and a few other essentials. Even fully loaded, the backpack never feels too full. The design and layout is perfect to carry whatever you need to carry. This is the third SwissGear backpack I’ve bought over the last fifteen or so years, and I’ve always been extremely happy with their build quality and durability. It is definitely worth spending a little more money to get such a perfect storage solution.

This is a great backpack for someone who like to carry stuff with them (laptop, tablet, books, notebooks, etc.) all the time. I take the bus, walk, and ride my bike a lot and this backpack is great for it because it has terrific padding and back support. I also like to have my laptop, nook tablet, a notebook, a book, water bottle, coffee mug, and various other little things with me everywhere I go, and this backpack fits all of it, as well as having some extra space left over for random things like a sweatshirt. It protects everything, especially my laptop, very well. It's tough and durable as well. I'd recommend this backpack to anyone on the go... although it's a little pricey (i paid $79.99), i'd still consider it to be worth the price.
