    Strong and full of pockets

Well I bought this backpack to replace another one I had used for many years and was very strong and easy to use. Of course that a Swiss Gear product has a embed promisse of quality and durability. But what really made me choose this back is the lots of different places where I can organize my stuff. And specially when I travel I carry on a lot of stuff, electronic stuff. That said, I have to recognize that so far the replacement has been better than the replaced unit. I may miss the lateral opening I had before but most of the times the use that I do is the regular (top) one.

    Amazing Backpack!

OK, I admit it, this is a pricey backpack. I read the great reviews of it online but wasn't going to buy it due to the price. When I saw it at the store however, I saw why it cost a lot. It just may be the ultimate computer backpack. It offers great protection for your computer, but also an incredible amount of space for everything else you need. There are pockets everywhere it seems. The padding is wonderful too. Even fully loaded, it is comfortable to carry. This is definitely a case of getting what you pay for. If you are in doubt, check it out at one of the stores. You'll be convinced.

Great backpack. Had all the features I was looking for plus plenty of easy access storage spaces. has outside storage for two water bottle (I usually carry two 20 ounce bottles, but could fit a bit larger or smaller size in the web netting pouches. Good padding where needed. Plenty of small zippered web netting pouches inside and near top openings for easy access to smaller items like Bluetooth headsets, flash drives, etc. Larger middle area for all the power supplies, battery backup, external USB drives, cables, etc. Has held up well.

I purchased this backpack a while back, and the stitching on the right shoulder started coming loose. I called Kswiss and they sent me a replacement within a couple of weeks. That pack was stolen from my truck a few weeks later. I figured it was just a fluke with the first one, so I purchased the same backpack and after two months it started doing the same thing. When I first noticed it I just missed my best buy 45 day return window, so now I am stuck with it. I will be complaining to Kswiss to see what other alternative I have.

When my trusty Jansport of more than 16 years developed a rip, it was time to upgrade to something more modern, sturdy, and not too bulky. This fits the bill for the first two, and almost for the last. It has tons of pockets, great protection for your laptop, tablet, etc. Watter bottle holders on both sides, and enough reinforcement on all the joints and seams. I've carried this on domestic and international plane rides, and take it to work every day with a laptop, and a couple of binders inside. What more not to like?

    Pretty solid bag

I've been using the bag for a couple of weeks and the only problem I've found with it is that the velcro for the strap on the laptop pocket attaches to the accessory pouch in the back liner when the strap is not being used. I could see that making a hole after a few months of use. If they had swapped the velcro locations so that the hooks were on the strap and the loops were on the pocket, it wouldn't happen. Other than that, it's a solid bag, rigid enough to stand up on its own when empty, and padded enough that I feel like all my gear is safe when using it.

Prior to purchasing this backpack I had a briefcase still bag for carrying my laptop and documents to my customer sites. It had just one strap to throw over my shoulder so the weight was carried by one side of my body. With the backpack the weight is evenly distributed so my back is straight and I no longer have back aches. I also like the number of compartments and the size of each for distributing my laptop, paper documents, power suppliy, phone chargers, airline tickets, and travel receipts.

I needed a laptop bag that would carry the laptop, a phone/headset, a keyboard and mouse. It does all of those things. None of the items I carry in this bag are particularly bulky, it's a small laptop, the keyboard is a Microsoft Wireless Comfort 5000, and is smallish, too. The mouse is standard wireless mouse (came with the keyboard), and the headset is a Plantronics Blackwire headset. They all fit nicely, but there's hardly any room left for even simple things like a manila folder or a syllabus. It's a laptop bag, not a "backpack." Still, I really like it!

Bought this item to replace a bag my husband had been using for his computer for about the last five years. His major requirements was that it was well crafted and had lots of extra storage compartments. This item meets both requests in spades. The handle is reinforced with steel cable so there is no chance of breaking it, which is a nice bonus. We found the model that is one step down and although it was 20 dollars cheaper, it did not have the cable in the handle so is not as sturdy. I believe that spending the extra $20 is definitely worth the money.

I just replaced my North Face backpack after 10 years and wish I had done it sooner. I absolutely love the cavernous storage this bag has, while still remaining relatively lightweight for easy transport. Great protection for your laptop and accoutrements, as well as a planner, iPad, and daily files (which I always carry home with the intent of reviewing but don't - the back pack is great, but didn't fix that). I hope not to have to replace this bag soon, but foresee myself being loyal to Swiss Gear in the future.

This is a great backpack. At first I thought it was a little too big, but I quickly got used to it. The multitude of pockets are excellent for organizing the load of stuff I carry with me every day to school. It's durable. The zippers feel like they are much higher quality than a typical backpack. The material inside the pockets is smooth, and doesn't scratch electronics. The laptop pocket is excellent as well. The pad is soft and smooth, and doesn't extend to the bottom of the bag, preventing damage to my laptop if I drop it. Overall a great buy.

I bought this to replace the one I had for 20 years ( no joke). This one is significantly lower quality than the one I replaced. The original one could stand on its own and the sides were upright and did not fall down when I opened them up to put stuff in the pack. Also the front strap across the chest is not on the new one. That is a biggie for me. I would've rated it a one, but it does carry stuff. Duh....

I got my Synergy backpack today. I put in my Apple MacBook Pro 15.4 and it fits perfectly. At first, I hold the backpack and it weighs a little heavier than my Targus Sport Standard backpack. As I put on my shoulders along with my laptop. I walk around the mall and I find it doesn't weighs or sprain my back or shoulders. Nice design and style!!! It has two main compartments, which are useful to put extra notebooks or magazines. It has plenty of pockets that can be use in any ways you like---mouse, cables, battery, etc. And I got this backpack on sale...

I must admit this is the best backpack I've had so far, even beating my last beloved Targus one. Ample space, nice padding, sturdy, high quality are among a few of the positive aspects. I use it everyday to carry my Surface Book and other laptops and some books to work. I must admit that sometimes I am a little lenient in the reviews, but this one needs to have a 5 rating. I'm very happy with the purchase.

I needed a new backpack and wanted to get one that had protection for my ipad. I looked at many many of them and found this one to have all the features I wanted. I practically live out of my backpack, and this one has so many pockets it's just great. Especially the padded sleeve for protection and the small top pocket for quick access to my phone, ipod, etc. It also has an earbud hole which is handy and a stand-up feature that is nice.

I recenty changed jobs and my new job included a company issued laptop and mobile phone. I had a nice briefcase but having 3 seperate cases was too much to handle. This backpack stores my laptop, the contents of my briefcase, my mobile phone, and still has room for my e-reader and an MP3 player. I ride a commuter train so having everything in 1 case that I can sling over my shoulder is just what I needed. This was not the least expensive backpack BestBuy had - but it's worth it!

Great bag for what I needed. Carry a computer, small hand tools, file folders, various cords and chargers, camera, and still have room left over. Shoulder straps are comfortable for carrying long distances without any fatigue. Smaller pockets and compartments keep things organized. Price was good when comparing identical product at different office type stores. Would recommend this to other techs. I've only had it a couple months, so I can't say much about the durability yet. I do like the weather resistant bottom of the pack.

This is my second backpack from this company and I simply wore out the first one. I travel 3 weeks a month for 10 months of the year and I got 3 years from my first one. What else is there to say, they make a very durable product. I'm about function over fashion, function this thing has and it is not that bad looking either. If you live on the road attached to a laptop and other electronics and need a carrying case that won't let you down go check out this brand.

    Recomended to DJ's!

My girlfriend bought me this back pack because I am a mobile DJ. This bag fits my Dell Vostro 1000 (with 15.4" screen), but Serato Scratch Live box, my external hard drive, headphones, cables for all of the above, backup CD's, and there is still plenty of room for more!!! The straps are very comfortable around your shoulders and the reinforced handle on the top reassured you that it will not tear when lifting a loaded backpack. I didn't realize the price was somewhat high when she purchased it, but I will definetly contest that it is WORTH IT!

I was torn between two backpacks and bought his one based on a recommendation. I really like it. It holds enough school books for two classes without any problems, and the laptop with the mouse. (I never use the touchpad.) Easy to carry, and my back doesn't get hot like with other backpacks. It can carry two bottles as well. My only complaint is that it doesn't have pen holders like a some backpacks do, but that is not a big deal. This is probably the best one that I have owned.
