I bought the Nintendo Switch OLED as a birthday gift for my son, and he absolutely loves it. The screen is bright and colorful, and it makes games look amazing. The new kickstand is much sturdier, and overall the system feels high quality. Seeing how much fun he’s having with it makes this purchase totally worth it.

I'm super late to the Switch party, but with the OLED model coming out coupled with an itch to play Animal Crossing that would not go away, I decided to pick one up. I'm really happy with it so far. It's amazing to see how far Nintendo has come. Graphics are amazing and I just love the controls. I haven't tried using the dedicated controller yet nor have I connected it to a TV. The portability is the best part though.

I missed having a nice portable game console. I used to have a Game Boy Color and later a Game Boy Adavnce and Game Boy Advance SP. This is much better to play on since it's got a much bigger screen. I also love how I can use it plugged in to the TV for an ever bigger screen and playing from the couch where my siblings can see what I am doing. I love Nintendo! Yes, I realize there were other handheld gaming consoles from Nitendo in Between the Game Boy Advance Lineup and the Swicth Lineup. But it didn't work out before to have the ones in between so I missed out on having a portable gaming handheld from Nintendo that filled in the gaps in ability. I haven't had too much issue with the limited storage capacity so far since I do not buy digital titles exclusively and do not have very many games in total just yet. I am kin of old school and believe physical games are better unless you know you are going to never want to trade them in or sell them when you are done and never want to loan them out. Though I could certainly see why someone would find the storage capacity too limiting

I’ll say it’s a worthwhile upgrade from a Switch Lite. I’m brought it to my brothers house to compare an OG Switch with this OLED model, and it’s amazing when comparing. The bezel is smaller, screen = bigger, sound is louder but not better in any other way that I can tell so far. My absolute favorite part about this model is the OLED screen. I tested it by waiting for parts in a game like Yugioh or Super Smash Bros and put my thumb in front of the dark part. I could not see the silhouette of my thumb AT ALL. The black colors are totally black coming from this screen, and I freaking LOVE IT!! Everything pops!! (Don’t let the picture fool you, it’s much better in person, I can promise you that)

Bought one for my wife ended up playing it everytime she put its down so i had to get one for myself it’s that’s good

It is awesome for families & get togethers! The kids absolutely love it too.

This is a much bigger upgrade than I expected from my Switch Lite. The screen is simply outstanding, and feels much bigger than I thought it would be. The colors pop, the contrast is infinite, and the darks are pitch black. Despite the larger screen size, resolution doesn’t seem adversely affected. The kickstand is worlds better than the original. It feels beefy, and holds its position at almost any angle. The sound is great, but honestly, I don’t notice too much of a difference. The white Joycons are clean and crisp. If you don’t have a Switch, or only have a Switch Lite or Launch Switch, this is an absolute must. If you have a Switch V2, it’s debatable.

A solid gaming console. Nintendo still delivers an excellent system with easy-to-use functionality. The selling feature of this system is the flexible portability and fun gaming library. Plus an excellent game platform for multiplayer fun! This OLED model display is bright and clear; the screen size is nicely enlarged with fewer bezels (Making this system a more enjoyable experience in handheld form) and the back stand for the switch is upgraded to a solid stand with different levels of adjustability (the built quality is improved over the previous version's flimsy cheap stand). Fun for kids and adults alike!

This is my second switch, gave my old one to my kid and upgraded to the oled and I love it. It’s definitely worth the extra $50 for the oled model. I don’t really notice a difference in battery consumption either and that was my main worry about switching to oled. Would definitely recommend to family or friends or anyone reading this.

Immediately upon powering it on, you appreciate the popping colors and inky blacks of the screen. That being said, if you own a Switch V2, there really isn’t a point to purchase this. A case can be made for people like me coming from a launch day Switch, double the battery life in handheld is a massive boon.

The Nintendo Switch OLED Model is a clear improvement over the original. The OLED screen is bright and vibrant, making games look amazing in handheld mode. The new stand is sturdier, and the upgraded speakers give much better sound. It still plays all the same games, but the overall experience feels more premium. If you love playing on the go, this version is definitely worth it

Gifted to my husband for his birthday. He loves it so much. Ease of use, controllers have bright colors and performs really well. No lags so far. I thought he's the only one who will enjoy playing the games but it looks like wife is enjoying more.

Great switch if you don’t have the original. This one has a bigger kickstand which I love compared to the original. Comes with double system capacity space at 64gb but I always buy extra space, good if you buy a lot of digital games too. Love the color as well and it has a slightly bigger screen. Other than that I think it preforms like the original so if you have the extra 50 bucks to spend then I’d go for this one. I also bought a nice cover on it which matches the color quite well!

For the past few years my husband has been telling me i would probably enjoy a switch. Im not a gamer in any capacity. But i was playing stupid games on my phone that i had to watch a ton of ads for. Well I finally broke down and got one this past december. I have let him have this one win and relish in the fact he was actually right for once. I will say his suggestion of the OLED was a good one. Not having just an oversized gameboy but an entire gaming console makes it worth the price. Plus being able to take it with me on my monthly work trips and not even really having to charge it is my favorite feature.

Love this system, it’s a great improvement over the base console , the screen is absolutely gorgeous and makes every game look more colorful and crisp. The kickstand is super nice and the whole console itself just has an overall more premium feel too it. Best Buy was the only place I could find with a decent amount of consoles in stock. I’m happy I got one and if your thinking about upgrading or just grabbing your first switch, I highly recommend it.

The most versatile and portable system! I love that we can take it anywhere and play handheld, or put the kickstand up and play like a tv with controller, or put it in the dock and play on the big screen tv! The switch controllers are also very versatile, there are controller "adapters" you can use to give it a more traditional gameplay feel too! Nevermind all the games! You can play almost anything, which does my millenial heart good! This wins hands down, over any other game system right now for just the sheer versatility of it!

My favorite Switch out of all the ones I’ve had by FAR. I had the Lite originally, then upgraded to the regular Switch, then finally treated myself to the OLED and it blows the other two out of the water. I play a lot in handheld mode so the screen size & quality was very important to me, and this does not disappoint! Gorgeous picture and vibrant colors. The all white look was also a big selling point for me as I always disliked the colors that the Joy-cons come in. The white Switch looks great on my desk or my shelf and I don’t have to worry about putting a skin on it (been there done that lol). My only gripe (and it’s a small one) is that the Joy-con buttons on mine at least are kinda loud and very clicky. I ended up getting a wireless controller anyway for when I play on a larger screen, but in handheld the ZR/ZL buttons in particular are a bit annoying. Not enough to make me dislike the console though, and honestly it might not even bother someone else, just me. Overall a great system and I’d recommend this over the other models any day. So glad I upgraded!

I absolutely love the Nintendo Switch. I'm not a big gamer so I took my time thinking about getting this and saving for it, I am so glad I did! The games are fun and the screen quality is beautiful. I also like that it is small and transportable, easy to take to my friends house.

Boys loved it, and is being put to good use! They like the ability to travel with it.

The Nintendo Switch OLED is an absolutely stunning game console. I am proud to say that I am now an owner of one, and would definitely recommend it to anyone of any age. Endless hours of enjoyment with a diversity of exclusive games to purchase for. It’s beautiful color display and distribution, plus the wider bigger screen and more studier built is much better than the original $300 USD Nintendo Switch.
