Great pickup experience and, with high demand items, Best Buy has had the most solid system with their variety of bundles! I have a PS5 and Switch 2 both thanks to them.
The Switch 2 itself is a wonderful upgrade and fixes the frustrating frame rate and graphical issues with games like Xenoblade 3, Pokemon Scarlet/Violet, and Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The free upgrades to Switch 1 games is a very nice perk. The kickstand is much more comfortable, the battery life is improved, and the charging port on both top and bottom is a wonderfully needed correction.

I was one of those who stayed out for the midnight launch for the switch 2, and im so glad i did. With the backwards compatibility, I've been catching up on some older pokemon games on top of the Nintendo online expansion + having a lot of games from regular Nes to gamecube. I haven't got all the attachments yet like the camera but most likely will eventually. They have a lot of games coming out that will be a must play like donkey kong bonanza and tony hawk pro skater and a new 007 james bond game which will make the Nintendo switch2 a great holiday gift for the family this year. -PW

This is a fantastic new console from Nintendo. I could go on and on about the screen, the power and all the other little touches here and there but one of the biggest things for me is it's backwards compatibility. Quite a few games that don't even have official upgrades or improvement patches just look better and run smoothly if the game had dynamic resolution and didn't have a capped frame rate. The games just simply play outstanding on the Switch 2, which is quite the surprise and a very welcome one! Overall, I am quite happy with the switch 2 and can't wait for all the new games and such to come in the future.

Finally made me want to play the Switch again, refresh rate and resolution are top notch and the larger size is perfect my eyes and hands. Hardware pricing is perfectly fine imo; the real pricing issues reside in the software. If I hadn’t got the Mario Kart bundle I would feel a bit scammed. Most Nintendo games are nowhere near worth $80, especially Mario Kart World, a game littered with small inconveniences that really add up when slapped with such a high price tag. The library at this point is pretty barebones if you owned and played all the Switch 1 games you wanted, but if you somehow haven’t played titles like Tears of the Kingdom dear lord get this.
Off topic but I also highly recommend the “Killswitch 2” case by dbrand if you often play handheld for maximum comfort

As someone who's rocked a day one switch for 8 years, this has been a fantastic step up in just about every regard. The new joycons feel a lot more comfortable to use and seeing a performance jump across the board for all of my old switch 1 games has helped to make them all feel better to play. Getting this bundles with mario kart has also been great (mainly cause I'm not paying 80 freaking dollars for it).
While I'm not too jazzed about the pricing for most games and accessories, the console itself I think manages to justify its own price with what it's capible of.

Amazing console with a bright vibrant screen! Mario Kart World is a bunch of fun that I didn't think I would have while playing. Battery life could be better, but it's understood for this level of performance.

Most fun system out right now. Perfect for if you game on the go and the new graphics + speed make it way better than the original. To me the way multiplayer works makes it great for the whole family

I’ve had the Nintendo Switch 2 for a few weeks now, and honestly, it’s everything I hoped the next Switch would be. It feels familiar but way more powerful and polished.
The new screen is absolutely gorgeous — brighter, sharper, and just makes every game pop. Docked mode looks great too; being able to play in 4K makes a bigger difference than I expected. Load times are super fast, and games run buttery smooth.
The new Joy-Cons are a huge upgrade. They feel sturdier, the buttons have a nice click, and best of all — no drift! Battery life is also noticeably better. I’ve played a few long sessions on the go and still had plenty of juice left.
I’ve been jumping between Zelda: Echoes of Hyrule, Mario Kart 9, and some older titles thanks to backwards compatibility, and everything runs perfectly. It really feels like Nintendo finally nailed the hybrid console idea completely this time.
If I had to nitpick, I’d say the internal storage could still be bigger (thankfully microSDs are cheap), but that’s about it.
Overall, the Switch 2 just makes gaming fun again — whether I’m playing on the couch, traveling, or killing time between classes. Nintendo absolutely crushed it with this one.

I recently visited Bestbuy on 86th.st. in Manhattan and asked one of the associates what would he suggest for a 9yr old boy for Xmas. He highly recommended Nintendo Switch 2. He went to say my grandson will enjoy hrs of play on Mariocart. He was right. The graphics are incredible. We've been back to purchase 2 additional games since. This guarantees that he completes his all homework assignments and pass tests with 80's and better. He also helps me with everything around the house. Thx Bestbuy, you're the best.

Oh, this system is amazing. It’s awesome. I like the big screen and I like the magnetic controllers and like how you can play the old games from the Nintendo switch that’s awesome.

TLDR: This console is a triumph of human imagination, ingenuity, and just a testemant to having a good time with multimedia that is more about people and stories!
In an era of low-effort and innovation games, Nintendo is still on top of their game as though the competition is fierce. The most important plus is the games… This console is currently the highest performer in its individual niche, but even when there is “better hardware”, if the games aren’t as good, it means nothing. The first-party games are overflowing with joy, wonder, and creativity. The second and third party games do actually join this party to be able to get into the special occasion that is this console.
One caveat is the prices… However, I recommend getting second-hand physical copies of temporary games and reselling them after you ahd your fun. I saved hundreds of dollars this way, especially thanks to the backwards compatibility.
Finally, and least importantly, ergonomics are better than ever, though I still recommend getting grips for the joycons. The battery capacity goes for a while (a while that is unhealthy to play in one sitting), so I recommend you not worry about battery capacity and instead focus on what you do and imagine during your breaks from the special world that this console is a magical door to.
I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys visual and musical arts, as well as anyone who wants to get into Nintendo!

I love it! Came early on release day and has lived up to all my expectations. The screen is much larger than the previous iterations of the Switch and the vibrant colors make everything look amazing. Mario Kart World has been super fun playing against other players online, and the open world is a neat little thing that I can just chill out with. I'm gonna be getting all my games on the Switch 2 for the foreseeable future.

I love this thing. Nice upgrade from the switch 1. The screen and performance are noticeable upgrades. Looking forward to building my switch 2 collection with best buy’

The switch 2 is a much more capable successor to the switch 1. So far I have enjoyed playing hallow knight, silksong, DK Banaza and pokemon ZA. It has even made pokemon scarlet/violet run smoother. I'm eagerly awaiting my friends to buy one so we can use the game chat feature.

I bought the Nintendo Switch 2 as a gift for my 4-year-old, and I’ll admit I was a little worried it wouldn’t be age-appropriate or easy enough for her to use. But she absolutely loves it! I’ve been a Mario player since I was little and was really looking forward to teaching her how to play… but joke’s on me, because she picked it up instantly and started playing all by herself. She didn’t even want my help! Seeing how naturally she figured it out and how much fun she’s having makes me love it even more. 10 out of 10 — we both love it.

It really is a bigger and better switch. It's great More comfortable without a grip. Proper high-end OLED with HDR is recommend or o you'll ssom see for yourself if you have a lower tier Tv that says it does HDR but really it's not good enough and I recommend mostly having it off. Or else you will see a reduced of color. And some games look worse. and even a Pikmin 4 for example you see reduce foliage and tremendous loss in color
