As an owner of all the Nintendo Switch systems, this console blew all my expectations out of the water. It runs games that feel like they were made for the next generation, including Mario Kart World bundled with it. If you’re on the fence about it, I’d say personally, even as someone casually enjoying it, the quality of previous Nintendo Switch consoles is improved upon ten fold with the Nintendo Switch 2. I couldn’t imagine running many heavy hitters like Donkey Kong Bananza on those systems; well worth the investment.

One of the best purchases you can make for you and your family, allowing several people to play and feel like a family. The screen is very wide and allows you to see the designs very well. I recommend it 100%.

This is a really great console. I had a Switch 1
for 7 years but it’s been showing its age recently so the Switch 2 came out at just the right time. Switch 2 is better than the Switch 1 in every way. The games run so smoothly and fast, and the graphics look beautiful. The Joy-Cons 2 feel really nice and the buttons are bigger. I love how they connect with magnets instead of the rails like the Switch 1. This bundle comes with Mario Kart World which is soooo much fun, especially when playing with friends. I am very excited for future exclusive games for this console and I’m happy I was able to get it. If you loved the Switch 1, you’ll love the Switch 2. If you’re considering getting a Nintendo console and are not sure whether to get a Switch 1 or Switch 2, I strongly suggest getting the Switch 2 because it will give you much better performance, will last you more years, and give you access to all the upcoming exclusives.

It is definitely an improvement over the first switch and competes with a lot of other handhelds, but it definitely feels bare. Mario Kart World is a great launch title, but it still feels like it would benefit from some other releases. The backwards compatibility is a great feature and I hope developers add some more Switch 2 game upgrades to maximize the new features. Additionally, I think the screen is able to compete with the OLED from last gen, but I do hope the option becomes available again.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is a strong evolution of its predecessor, blending handheld convenience with boosted performance. The upgraded hardware delivers noticeably smoother gameplay, faster load times, and enhanced graphics — finally bringing Nintendo closer to current-gen standards while still focusing on fun over raw power.
The OLED display (if included) is vibrant, and the improved Joy-Con drift resistance is a welcome fix. Backward compatibility with original Switch games adds major value, and new exclusive titles help show off what the system can do.
Still, it’s not a huge leap — more of a refined upgrade than a total reinvention. But for fans of Nintendo’s ecosystem or newcomers seeking versatility, the Switch 2 is an easy recommendation.

I had the first round of release for the original Switch and decided to upgrade to the Switch 2 when Madden released. It is so much bigger and so much faster that it’s very worth the price to me. The bundle came with the new Mario Kart which was a good incentive seeing as it only added $50 to the total as opposed to the $80 it would have normally costed. The controls are smooth and do not hold a lot of resistance. I’d recommend it to anyone who’s buying their first Switch or who is looking to upgrade. It’s worth it.

I just got the Nintendo Switch 2 from Best Buy, and honestly, I’m really impressed. It still has the hybrid feel I love – I can play handheld, on the table, or on my TV – but everything feels smoother and more comfortable. The screen looks amazing, the colors are vibrant, and games run so much better with the new processor.
The Joy-Con controllers feel solid and easier to use, and I even tried the new GameChat feature, which is pretty cool. My only complaint is the battery – it doesn’t last too long on heavy games, so keep that in mind if you plan long play sessions.
Overall, I’m really happy with it. If you’re thinking about upgrading from the original Switch, I’d definitely recommend it.

Full disclaimer: I am a Nintendo fanboy. I love this console. The controllers feel smooth and overall are just better. The screen is great and the performance is truly amazing.
Even the Switch 1 games just run better and faster.

I bought my Switch 2 almost a month ago and this is my personal review for it. So the main reason I wanted to buy this console was the handheld aspect of it. Because a good chunk of my game time this past year has been on the go. And I wanted something with power and good games. Now I know at the time I’m doing this review there are only two big games on this console. MK world which is $80… and then the new donkey Kong. So I decided to get the MK bundle so that way it’s like I’m paying 50$ for an 80$ game. And speaking of MK….It’s a pretty good game but it does get old after a while so I would recommend getting the bundle with the game because I don’t think it’s quite worth $80. But overall I’ve been enjoying this console. So if you want a portable console with decent power and years of exclusives go for it. But if you’re not that interested in the games that are out right now I would recommend waiting another year or two for there to be more games with hopefully lower prices. This is my first review on Best Buy so hopefully I did OK. (: If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved! :)

The graphics and the wholehearted gameplay of nintendo is here in the Switch2. It runs so smoothly, making gameplay that much more enjoyable and I am excited for Kirby, Donkey Kong, and Pokémon games to get this smooth frame rate with their new games this year! As someone who recently went to the Nintendo Museum, the care and history of this company is singular and I am thrilled to be a part of this evolution in its gaming. I do recommend the procontroller because it enriches gameplay and as someone who enjoys home console gameplay, the huge screen really displays an enriched game experience.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is practically buzzing with excitement it's ready to leap off the shelf and into the hands of gamers everywhere! With upgraded internals, a sharper, more vibrant display, and lightning fast load times, it knows it's the future of portable and home gaming. The moment it boots up, it's as if it’s shouting, “Let’s a go!” eager to launch into sprawling adventures, high octane races, and intense showdowns. It can’t wait to show off its new tricks, dazzle with 4K graphics, and connect players in ways never before possible. The Switch 2 isn’t just a console it’s a celebration of everything gaming can be, and it's thrilled to be the star of the show.

Absolutely amazing system. The new mouse controls are fantastic and MKW looks awesome. The battery life is just OK but that’s
My only gripe with the system. It’s a lot of fun you won’t regret buying one. The game chat feature is really cool.

Great pickup experience and, with high demand items, Best Buy has had the most solid system with their variety of bundles! I have a PS5 and Switch 2 both thanks to them.
The Switch 2 itself is a wonderful upgrade and fixes the frustrating frame rate and graphical issues with games like Xenoblade 3, Pokemon Scarlet/Violet, and Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The free upgrades to Switch 1 games is a very nice perk. The kickstand is much more comfortable, the battery life is improved, and the charging port on both top and bottom is a wonderfully needed correction.

Disappointed that it is not an OLED display. Feels like a step back in comparison to the switch OLED. The battery life is also bad.
The only positives are the slightly larger screen size, larger joy-cons, and quicker load times.
Hard to recommend if you already have a Switch OLED.

Finally made me want to play the Switch again, refresh rate and resolution are top notch and the larger size is perfect my eyes and hands. Hardware pricing is perfectly fine imo; the real pricing issues reside in the software. If I hadn’t got the Mario Kart bundle I would feel a bit scammed. Most Nintendo games are nowhere near worth $80, especially Mario Kart World, a game littered with small inconveniences that really add up when slapped with such a high price tag. The library at this point is pretty barebones if you owned and played all the Switch 1 games you wanted, but if you somehow haven’t played titles like Tears of the Kingdom dear lord get this.
Off topic but I also highly recommend the “Killswitch 2” case by dbrand if you often play handheld for maximum comfort

I was one of those who stayed out for the midnight launch for the switch 2, and im so glad i did. With the backwards compatibility, I've been catching up on some older pokemon games on top of the Nintendo online expansion + having a lot of games from regular Nes to gamecube. I haven't got all the attachments yet like the camera but most likely will eventually. They have a lot of games coming out that will be a must play like donkey kong bonanza and tony hawk pro skater and a new 007 james bond game which will make the Nintendo switch2 a great holiday gift for the family this year. -PW
