I love love love it!! I originally had the Nintendo switch oled & this is a lot bigger and faster then the oled. Only thing I could say is the battery life. Itll last a few hours but it does die quickly, or at least faster then other consoles. Oh also SOMETIMES the controller can be a little dumb sometimes and have a drift

I love my switch 2. The games look better and it overall feels better playing handheld. My only grip with the product is the battery life but I haven’t had too many issues with it especially with the new charging port ontop of the switch makes playing handheld while charging 100x more enjoyable

I’ve been having a great time with this new system. I also own the Switch OLED and the bigger screen on the Switch 2 has caused me to use it more for mobile play. I love the fact that my old collection of switch games still work with this new system so I can continue to work on my backlog and the ability to also access the new Gamecube selection of games through Nintendo Switch Online has my wife very happy as well. No complaints about the system so far after owning it for a month now and I see this as a great step forward. I am looking forward to the new Switch 2 exclusives that will be releasing in the near future. I hope they end up releasing new controller colors soon as well.

Definitely better than the original switch OLED. The screen on this is absolutely gorgeous it has higher quality on the main screen and also on the big screen 4K resolution is amazing. No lagging run smooth so much faster.

Can’t wait for more games to come out for this, mario kart looks and plays amazing. Easy to transfer everything over from switch, joy-cons feel solid and the screen is a huge improvement over last gen.

The switch 2 has breathed new life into my switch physical collection. All the games I missed out on or flat out dropped mid play due to low performance or bad visuals have been amazing to play on the switch 2. The console is thin and light compared to other handhelds. Games are perfectly optimized for the s2 vs pc handhelds where you have to tweak individual settings to get playable frame rates which gets tiring. The docking experience is seamless. Also my 8bitdo controller from my original switch works with the s2 after a controller and dongle firmware update which is a nice feature from 8bitdo so money saved there. I actually stopped playing and sold my ally z1x in favor for the s2 because the screen is so much nicer, bigger and it’s just easy to pick up and play due to quick resume. **Make sure you put a screen protector on it day one**

It's beautiful. I use it everyday. I highly recommend it especially if you are a big fan of fortnite and nintendo. I played it more than I ever have with my original nintendo switch. It is so much better. I havent even used the docking feature yet. Exclusively runs well without it!

A friend came over and brought the one that they had just bought. My wife loved it, spent two hours playing Zelda while we hung out. So in September, for Christmas, I bought it for her.
And then I lost my job. So after a discussion with my wife, I returned it. It was very sad and all because my former employer is working on replacing all of us with AI. Which is hilarious because AI is definitely not ready to replace humans. I highly doubt it ever will be, and I look forward to the moment we can afford the switch again.

he Nintendo Switch 2 is a solid upgrade with impressive performance and a sleek design. Gameplay is smooth, and the new features make it feel like a true next-gen handheld-console hybrid. The only downsides are the limited launch library and battery life that doesn’t quite match the OLED version. Still, a great system with huge potential once more titles roll out.

This new version of the Nintendo switch is really awesome! The upgraded remotes slightly a bit bigger feel great in hand. Also the screen being a bit bigger is cool so when you aren’t using the dock you can enjoy playing without straining your eyes as much.

Over the last couple of years I had to sell all my consoles, but as I sold them, I didn’t really have that love of video games, it was lacking really since Covid.
I was a little skeptical at first, but as I bought this new device, I really found my love of video games back. Some of my favorites have been Pokemon Legends, 2k, and Mario Kart world- such fun experiences and cool dates I get to do with my wife.
My dad also really liked it and was able to buy himself one and he loves it as well!! Great way to make memories with the people you love.

I can say this has been my second favorite video game console purchase in the last 10 years. The first was the orginal switch so you could say yes i am a fan of nintendo. This gave me the ability to play games i wouldn’t have had the ability to play on the OG Switch like Assasssin’s Creed Shadows, Yakuza Kiwami 2, Street fighter 6, etc. being able to game while i do my daily treadmill walks by just bringing this to th gym with me also helps me stay active and beat more games in my backlog and with the larger/brighter screen i fully feel immersed without worrying about falling off! safe to say this was worth the $500 with Mario kart world. And Donkey kong Banaza &Kirby Air Riders are some of the most fun games ive played ever!

The Nintendo Switch 2 is a fantastic upgrade that keeps everything we loved about the original and makes it even better. The improved graphics, faster load times, and longer battery life make gameplay smoother and more immersive. It’s incredibly easy to use—just turn it on and start playing, whether docked to a TV or in handheld mode. The interface is intuitive, setup is simple, and switching between games or users takes just seconds. Whether you’re a longtime gamer or just starting out, the Switch 2 feels welcoming and fun right out of the box.

Is a great upgrade from the switch 1 way faster now the e shop works nice and smooth previous games like Zelda Breath of the wild, Pokemon Scarlet and others run way better on this console, Bigger screen and joy cons is a plus and is cool they added the mouse feature but no major changes that made it feel like a complete new console it feels more like a Switch 1 Pro which is nice though,

So much faster and more powerful than its predecessor. Love the look of old games and love how fast new games run! Looking forward to more titles! Only wish it had more internal storage since games are getting so big!

Short rundown:
Screen
1080p.
Can do HDR, VRR, and 120FPS.
Body
Bigger than Switch 1.
Bigger joycons.
Docked
Can do 4K, 120 FPS, and HDR.
Storage
256GB.
Battery
2 hours, 3 with moderate brightness.
I cannot count the number of hours I spent on my Switch 1. From playing inside, outside, and everywhere in between, the Switch 1 has been a steady companion giving nothing but joy, and asking for nothing in return. Sure, there have been negatives like drift (Left Joy-Con getting drift 5 times, but Nintendo still does repairs for free). I can't personally play handheld too long, or I get hand cramps. Those gripes aside, the Switch 2 was simply better than I expected it to be.
With the Switch 2 now in hand, I can confidently say that hand cramps have largely been eliminated. I can play significantly longer than I could on the Switch 1, and all by virtue of the fact that Nintendo simply made them larger. Drift?we'll know soon enough whether Nintendo has redesigned them to withstand gaming. It's only been 3 months...
What shocked me is how great the screen is. I play docked more than I do handheld, but the full 1080p screen makes it worth playing handheld more than I ever did with the Switch 1. The HDR(punches up the graphics) isn't just some buzzword. It really makes everything look better. I don't have a 4K TV, but when I do, I'll be playing games docked at 4k, but will probably pay extra to take advantage of 120 FPS when I do.
Chat works. Both docked and handheld. Didn't get the camera, but you can use a phone if you have the right cables.
The one thing I am the most happy about are the Switch 2's load times ON SWITCH INTERNAL STORAGE. Waframe could take 2 to 3 minutes. It's now about 30 seconds. Tears of the Kingdom is about 15. I don't have one of the newer microSD Express card's, but with an average of 800 bits per second, I'm sure they're only 10 seconds or more.
Now to gripes.
$500 is a tall order for anyone. That can be half month's rent! So, saving up is one way to go about it, but Best Buy does have good financing options. Adding gift cards to your account(KEEP THAT PASSWORD SAFE) is also a way.
Battery life can be 3 hours, but most people average 2. That's why there's a second USB-C port on the top.
My hands still cramp, but that's after maybe 2 hours. It's a Me thing. What it really is for me is that my thumb hates the placement of the right joycon buttons and sticks. If the Switch 1 never bothered you, you're good to go.
Mouse mode can be a bit awkward, but the Switch 2 allows some 3rd party mice, so that can be dealt with.
Overall, I give the Switch 2 a 9/10. I can finally play handheld on a console that was meant for it, and with a full HD screen. Time-sensitive hand cramps and battery life aside, this is better than the Switch 1.

No surprises here; Switch 2 is the one to get for all your Nintendo needs. And while I've only played the Zelda games on it so far, it has already proven itself for me in how well they run compared to the original Switch.
The games in general are smaller, so the storage included is plenty. Only issue for me is that the left joycon's ZL button took too much pressure to activate, but Nintendo is repairing that for free. Also, the Switch 2 can use Switch 1 controllers, so I'm not missing anything in the meanwhile.
Not much else to say; it's great and I bought it for Duskbloods so that needs to hurry up and release!

I recently got my hands on the Nintendo Switch 2, and it’s been a fantastic upgrade from the original model. It’s perfect for casual gaming, whether I’m lounging on the couch, playing in bed, or traveling — the portability makes it incredibly convenient without compromising performance.
Compared to the original Switch, the graphics and responsiveness are noticeably improved, making games look sharper and run smoother. The controls feel comfortable for long sessions, and the screen is bright and clear, which makes handheld play really enjoyable. Battery life is solid as well, so I don’t have to worry about constantly charging when I’m on the go.
Overall, the Nintendo Switch 2 is a highly capable and versatile gaming device. It’s great for casual gamers who want flexibility in how and where they play, and it really outperforms the old Switch in terms of visuals, performance, and overall experience.
