Love Nintendo ever since the nes years the switch two is bigger than the switch one and it’s better all the way around

We waited in the pre order line on release night for about 2 hours and it was definitely worth the wait. Box was perfect quality and the system is perfect also. Very much a huge upgrade from Switch 1 to Switch 2.

Now there are some games that don't work on the switch 2 that work on the Switch 1. Nintendo is looking into it. Also, keep your switch 1 just in case and keep your joy con controllers as well. This console is a bigger, it makes some games perform better. It has better connection. It has better amibo support( you don't have to take the amibo out of the box) and it has a greater display. I would say bye, if you want better performing games. But the games will be a little bit more expensive for that high performance. Look on nintendo's page to see which games do not work. I cannot see the nintendo switch 2 being a necessity, this time, but at the time of this review, it's not even a year old.So we're just gonna have to wait and see.

I love my switch 2 even though the price was a little steep and the games tend to cost full price I still enjoy this console hands down it runs games so much smoother while not getting hot like my legion go

I was hesitant to upgrade from the original switch to the switch 2, and I truthfully wish I hadn’t waited so long. Great display upgrade, and games like Pokémon Scarlet/Violet run much more smoothly.

Console with a lot of potential, but Nintendo’s outrageous pricing for software and lack of next gen upgrades for most of their portfolio (looking at you Luigi’s Mansion 3) seriously undercut the value of this console, especially today. Nintendo needs to actually roll out meaningful software for it.
Physically, the console also leaves a lot to be desired and the storage is pretty anemic (even if it better than the abysmal original Switch). The built in screen is actually garbage tier (some of the worst motion performance on the market) and the Joy Cons are also leading worst controllers on the market.
For the price they are selling this at, it is frankly a pretty pathetic offering. The only reason people are praising it is due to unacknowledged trauma about how backward the Switch has been for so long.

When this console was first announced, I never imagined the excitement it would generate, especially when I finally got to hold one. It had been a while since I had bought a game console, and this purchase was truly unexpected. However, it’s been only about a week since its release, and I’m thrilled to return home each day to play Mario Kart. I can’t wait to get more games and delving deeper into the features of the Nintendo Switch 2.

much improved performance and visual quality over the Switch 1 or Switch OLED for Pokemon Violet/Scarlet. Higher res, no stuttering, more FPS, more pokemon spawns. This is the way the game was meant to be played!
The only downside is the battery life seems to be shorter compared to the Switch OLED but I guess that's expected since the console is also much more powerful.

My daughter has loved Nintendo since childhood so as a gift and on a whim, I sent her with my card to see if she could find it Day One. Tried to preorder it but was unlucky in securing one. Best Buy were the only folks in town who could make magic happen. We both thought the console is a mostly incremental update versus a whole new console, especially with the design so closely mirroring the previous generation in looks. But with so many of the right choices made to the right features this feels like the introduction of a Pro Max with many better features than just a rehash of

Ive had it for a month now and its a great as i prayed it would be. I mostly play pokemon on my switch and the upgraded frames make it feel like a whole new experience. I play Pokemon Violet and theres was a slpit second where i was going to buy the scarlet version just yo re-experience the entire game and story on the switch 2.

Love it, it's exactly what I've been wanting out of a switch. Faster more powerful and bigger. Should've called it The Super Nintendo Switch. Have it connected to my Asus 42 inch OLED gaming monitor and looks amazing
