the ac switch is any collectors dream. it’s so adorable

The green joycon broke and it doesn’t stay clicked in anymore. It just slides out without me touching the release button. Other than that no problems with the system

A gorgeous edition of the switch, if you can find it.

It was really great for the delivery and shipping. And that is an understatement for I was expecting it to take longer to arrive. I was very pleased with the packaging! Since it came out last year I was really wanting to get this console! And it was perfect. I would recommend if you like AC too.

We bought this for our daughter’s birthday. She had been wanting it since last Christmas but it was sold out everywhere we looked. Very cute graphics on the switch. Our daughter loves it. She loves that she can take it with her to friends’ because it it so small and compact.

Works just like any other switch. 4 stars because my right joycon keeps randomly detaching even though it’s connected to the system. Good thing I got the warranty

Can’t go wrong with the switch great color and design

My wife loves this. We now have two switches for Co-Op play. She was waiting for a special edition before diving into it. She loved her 3DS and is sad that this is not nearly as handheld play as that was, so she plays it on the TV mainly, but overall she is happy with it.

The colors are adorable, and the special design on the system itself and the dock are just wonderful. I traded in my first generation Switch for this special edition and the hardware is ten times better than my previous Switch. Much faster loading times, smoother transitions, etc. A must-have for Animal Crossing fans for sure!

I bought it as a gift to my daughter because she passed her classes. She was asking me for it but I wasn’t that ready to buy it since it’s expensive and she didn’t deserve it. Now she’s enjoying all the animal crossing games. OMG she is so in love with this game

Loved the design was worth the money and then some

I had a big hunch that Nintendo would drop a limited edition Animal Crossing Switch and, beyond my very eyes, here it is! The pastel colored joy cons and Nook family designed dock had me in it to win it. The etched designs on the back of the system is also very fitting. Great gift for collectors and big Animal Crossing fans!

Fun to play with at night. Having this in the hand really takes me back to when I was a young boy I really love shaking and moving it around sometime it gets a little awkward when my partner comes into the room but it’s ok we just slip in something new and play together. It’s good to play together.

Wide selection of games that everyone in the family can enjoy! My wife and I have been playing for almost a month and have played a few different games together and being able to play online with others is a great option! Highly recommend getting Animal Crossing New Horizons to pair with it!

It's an amazingly cute design for a wonderful game.

It's not bad, but not great either. I really dig the concept and the idea presented with Nintendo's console, but it seems it's own ecosystem essentially holds back what should be a great console. I will say coming from the Vita and PSP line of handhelds, having a non-proprietary SD card is a plus. Initially after hearing about the impending release of the Steam Deck, I decided to give the Switch a try. I will also say that for a console generally advertised as a go anywhere console, it's execution is somewhat flawed by internal policies to Nintendo and it's ecosystem. This is where I feel the system begins to be held back. I will say while enjoyable, the two games I had in my short time with the Switch didn't quite meet expectations. I was hoping for what seemed to be classic experiences, in depth, but Breath of the Wild seemed to begin to turn into a series of check boxes. While fitting for a console that lends itself to pick up and forget in intermittent play sessions, I feel now has become forget and forget to continue playing it. Now I'm not really excited to continue the game, knowing my experience seems to match my previous experience with it, my mind generally goes to other games especially on desktop. The same goes with Animal Crossing, which now has fully embraced a mobile gacha game style aesthetic and gameplay loop. I'm sure someone who doesn't want to find a game technically challenging will enjoy it, the idea that this game will soon become it's own internal time sink with no way to master or incentive to continue playing outside of a constant devotion doesn't lend to keeping it interesting. Besides these two issues, the Switch also seems stuck in the past, with a lack of bluetooth audio, basic friend and social features, and a games ecosystem fairly closed off, I want to like the switch but it doesn't give much to like in return. Likely I will be returning the device in the coming week.
