Daughter got me into playing Pokémon and had one and would let me borrow it! Finally broke down and bought my own and so far no issues! Love it so much got a cool case for it!

Has so many fun games and I love the portable aspect of it as well as being able to connect it to your tv. Great design. Ended up buying another pair of controllers so I could play with more friends.

You can purchase games at the store or online through the console. You do have to purchase either a monthly or a yearly online subscription but that is only if you plan on playing with friends but it is definitely not needed. This is a great purchase if you're thinking about buying one. It includes HDMI cond and quickly works on your tv. Nothing complicated about getting started when connecting. You will need to make a nintendo account first though.
