Not worth the price

If a scene was dark for example it was a night scene, you couldn’t really see what was going on.

Not a good DVD player.

Best Buy service is always very good and that was not the issue. But the actual player itself would freeze when Playing a DVD, the sound was dreadful, and the screen viewing was dim and poor quality. I could not recommend this brand or this particular device. It was done so cheaply that it was not worth the price. Not even close.

Ridiculously Horrible, Returning it Today!

The screen is hard to see from all angles, especially in the dark! (A bluish white tint covers the screen and it’s unbearable). Worst product i have ever purchased in this category. I cannot believe this is on the market. I would not buy this for $10. It’s that bad.

Sylvania vs. TaoTronics portable DVD Player

It not only felt cheap, the picture was horrible. Watched 1 movie and decided it was going back to the store. Returned it the next day for a 15" TaoTronics portable DVD and saved $100. Pretty similar structure quality, but the picture is 100x better.

Great Portable Blu-ray player
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hesitant to buy this player because of the price point, but then it went on sale and decided to give it a try. So far it's been a great blu-ray player. I have plenty of blu- ray movies that are not in digital format, so this is the perfect gadget to take them on the go. Its pretty big but not heavy. It does not get very loud. I personally don't hear a difference between 70 percent volume and 100 percent. It's not a big deal for me since I can plug in headphones or a portable speaker with an auxiliary cord. So far I'm very happy with purchase.

Truly Basic Blu-ray Player
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Convenient, portable and compact are the pros of this Sylvania 13.3" Portable Blu-ray Player with Swivel Screen. Background whirring noise is distracting, the remote is challenging to operate and you will be continually adjusting the tilt of the screen to get the best resolution. If the first three points speak to you, buy this player. If the last three impact your enjoyment, this player isn't for you.
