Don't let the description fool you. This little gem is a work horse. It's the perfect size to make smaller portions and cleanup is simple. I especially like the temperature control and wire basket.

Didn't need a deep fryer but I'm really glad that I bought this one. The basket isn't huge but holds enough to satisfy two people. I wish that it got up to temperature faster but once it reaches the set temp it stays pretty constant..

This deep fryer is great. Easy to clean and easy to use. T FAL makes great products (Pans and cooking utensils) and this yet another. BestBuy had it on sale so it minimized any worries.

Fryer works great and helps keep the mess with a fryer down to a min. Unit fit very nicely on the counter as well as looks good. I like the magnetic connection with the power cord.

I thought I was going to save a lot of time with this fryer, when I make porkballs. I hate it for this. Not thrilled at all. The tempura batter sticks to the frying basket so bad that you literally have to cut the batter off of the bottom of the basket to get the food out. I tried scraping them up while frying, but that really tears up the crust. It must be because the pork is dense and sinks to the bottom of the basket, because I deep fried some brocoli in the same batter and did not have the problem. So for the porkballs, I'll stick with my over 30yr old Fry Daddy.

This does a beautiful job of frying and has temperature controls. However, two pieces of chicken a time is ridiculous! Should be marketed as a mini fryer--not because of size, but because the configuration keeps the usable oil level at about 2 inches even though it holds about 4 inches of oil.

The unit is very well built and works just as well. The entire assembly comes apart which makes it very easy to clean the heating coils and oil pan too. Great for small batches of cooking.

This is really a good buy and good for small items. Very easy to use and the instructions are clear. Don't get this if you want a large deep fryer.
