I love this deep fryer. It's not too large or too small. It's just right for my family of 3.

It works well, but it uses too much oil for a small fryer.

You can't go wrong with T-Fal !! We love our fryer for a while we used it for party goods often and it never failed us. All food was always very well cooked and came out with a great color. Best of all great crisp. We love that it can be taken fully apart for extra cleaniness. It lets you know when its at your preferred tempeture and up to where it needs to be filled up with oil.

Nothing Like Frying Food at Home

I bought this, primarily, because I love fried catfish. And that's exactly what I cooked in it the first time I used it. Along with breaded okra and french fries. Everything came out better than restuarant quality. Not to mention the money I save verses eating out. (Used vegetable oil.) Very simple controls and heats up in no time, with recommended heat settings and times labeled on the front of it.
Prior to this I made my catfish in a pan and it was a bit messy and wasteful, because I always disposed of the oil, afterwards. Cooking wasn't always uniform, either. Now I can re-use the oil and clean-up can be done by throwing most of it in the dishwasher. Doesn't splatter all over like a pan frying.
Looking forward to making fried shrimp and squash.

Best valued fryer

This fryer is great. I love that it comes completely apart for cleaning. When using a fryer, grease and oil gets in every little crevice. The ability to disassemble this fryer greatly enhances the ability to clean it. Otherwise, it does what it's supposed to, it fries food. It holds a nice amount of food. Because of that, it requires a little more space. But, that's the price you pay for a bigger fryer.
