I tried doing this once on a phone and was not happy with my result. This was so easy and fast to have done. I will always have my screen protectors installed by Best Buy.

I tried to do the screen protection before and it did not work out so now I just let the experts do it and if they mess up the screen saver then they will replace it. They do a great job.
