Tablo TV very good
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have Youtube TV and they had a fight with Disney/ABC. My wife still loves General Hospital on ABC so I purchased this Tablo to fill in till they came to some agreement. I can stream to any compatible device as long as I'm in the house. does not stream over internet. Wifi only. Outstanding quality picture!

Tablo Review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked well - when it worked. It seemed like every time I went to use it for some reason I would have trouble logging into it. It was frustrating to use due to that. Picture quality and ease of use was great when I could get it to work.

It works, needs some improvement but is OK
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It could be better, it occasionally loses the pictures in the guide and randomly closes, it could be a fire stick problem but I have the 4K max, Cube and another just 4K and they all do it randomly. I noticed if I don't close the app by choosing Exit Tablo you get more problems but I also blame this partially on Amazon because they should make a way to close apps and clear cache without buying or installing an app to do so. Anyways Tablo works OK but does need some improvement. I left Plex using my HD-Home run because the interface is awful. Tablo has a better interface but also has some issues. Hopefully they will continue to make it better lets hope at least.

Cost saving device
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this because we are cancelling YouTube tv. Will be saving over $600.00 a year. Me and my wife watch shows on local channels and the dvr on Tablo fits the bill. My wife will be subscribing to frndly tv for her hallmark channels in which she is getting a few more hallmark like channels that she likes. I will subscribe to espn+ for mainly pga tour. I have t mobile home internet ( trash can model). Finally able to get ala carte channels that I watch and not all the other channels that I did not watch on YouTube tv. Yes there is times that live tv freezes, it only happens once in awhile, probably from internet speed. But it does not bother us in the savings we are getting. I was paying 72.99/ month for YouTube tv and it’s going up to $82.99. Thats $876.00/yr. Plus 5$50.00 for internet. Total $926.00yr. Local channels with dvr is $0.00 Frndly tv7.99- month total $96.00/yr ESPN+ $11.99/month total 143.88/ yr Internet $50.00 Total cost $289.88/yr Total savings= $636.12 Totally worth it. Get and save a ton of money

The Best Electronic I Own
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had YouTubeTV but the price went up so I went shopping and found Tablo 4th Generation. It is the best thing I own now. Records my shows and then I can save or delete them. I am so glad I found this. It took a little tweaking to get everything just right but now WOW.

Tablo record and view
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With our Tablo, we can record and watch network tv and see our favorite broadcasts whenever we want. Tablo does a great job and is easy to install and use. Much more economical than paying for a streaming service.

Missing Guide Info
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A lot different than my TIVO. A couple of my channels have no guide data showing on the Tablo, so you can't record on those channels. Customer service says there's nothing they can do about missing data, but I have that data on my TIVO. It does work good to watch recorded programs.

DVR for over the air live tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this DVR. Just download the Tablo app to your Roku or fire tv and connect your antenna to the Tablo and you can stream, record, pause and play live tv. The only downside is that when watching live tv through Tablo the actors mouth movements when talking don’t match up with the dialogue (sound). I solved buffering issue that you may have read about by streaming directly to my fire stick and not to my smart tv. Overall I recommend this Dvr.

Love my Tablo.
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my 4 tuner tablo. I previously had an AirTV which was flaky and sometimes I couldn't watch recorded shows. Or the AirTv recorded a different station in the middle of a recording. The software for the tablo (via a Firestick) is much nicer than the AirTv. I love the Thumbnails in the recordings, it makes it much easier to fast forward. All in all, I am happy with my purchase.

Great OTA tuner
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome device. Much more stable than Sling DVR. Software does hang a little, but i just back out and get back in. Only wish it used profiles for different viewers.

Lights OUT
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After 14 months it died. Just stopped working. It may have been even sooner, I just decided to check it to update the app and it would not open. Then I noticed that there were no lights on the unit. Checked the outlet but it worked fine. I don't want to waste money on a new power supply if the unit is the problem. The system was somewhat finicky anyway. I'll see what the manufacturer says.

Great Purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this thing. I missed the dvr functionality when we got rid of DirecTV. Having those same features for free, even better. Upgraded my antenna to add 200 channels to choose from.

TV device
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty easy to install and setup. Channels search went fast. Too many clicks to get to the live TV guide and the remote doesn’t have numbers so you have to scroll and scroll to get high number channels. Small white device. App plays video content via the ROKU box. App wont install on Visio TVs yet so i had to buy another ROKU box. Recording feature was much better than Channel Master. Device uses location info from your wifi router.

Dvr
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Useful on my tablet but my samsung tv has webrowuser but cant go to tablo or to playsore to get app so even though it is smart tv with other apps wont let me update any apps. I guess 6 yesrs new it is time to upgrade tv so as to watch tablo on tv instead of tablet or phone. Would like to know what tv works with tablo like samsung, lg, etc by tablo website. They mention samsung not supported as of yet. I think software has to be android on tv not priorty software? Hopefully i will find out?

Tablo User for 3+ years
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Much better than the 2nd generation for sure. We had a Quad 4 with a 2TB internal drive with tons of connection issues all the time. I do miss the remote access for travel with the old model though. As far as this latest gen there's still a few bugs; won't always delete the program and locks up needed a restart. Again, if you don't mind the occasional reset/reboot it's really nice to have versus expensive cable. We live in NE OK and get 38 OTA channels which is nice to record and watch later. Also this model has added a number of "streaming" channels to the offering which is a bonus. Overall I'd buy it again.

Tablo & Roku Ultra having issues.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the new 4-tuner Tablo, but it DOES have an issue with streaming on my Roku Ultra. Tablo and/or Roku NEED to make a firmware update to resolve this ongoing issue.
