Giod system a couple small glitches ( less than previous cabke prividers had ) easy to install and use

Get the 4 channel DVR I'm saving tons of $$ when I got rid of my cable DVR. This records over the air tv programs. It great to fast forward the tv commercials again

I love the concept of Tablo. My iOS app never got past 50% of setup. I called for support, and I was told my Tablo did connect to Wi-Fi, but I had to connect it to the Ethernet to complete the installation, then I could put it back on Wi-Fi. The guide is very helpful for antenna TV. It worked fine for a few days, I recorded my favorite shows, then I started receiving failed recordings. I kept getting “weak signal” messages on all channels, therefore, I could not view any channels. I reset it, moved the antenna, it worked fine for a few days. I have been repeating this cycle until I gave up. Two weeks have gone by with no channels to view and no programs being recorded. Today, I unplugged it for 15 minutes, reset it, then I updated the channel guide. Tablo is finally working again! Hopefully, it will continue to work, so I can fall in love with it. Until it works continually without the frustration, I cannot recommend it, but I remain hopeful.

Looses signal too often and the picture pixates quite often

Great product, does not work with most of the smart tvs you will find at Bestbuy. NO Samsung or LG TVs will work. While this is not Tablo's fault, they have chosen to not provide an app which will work with these two brands. I really like the device, but this information should be at the top of the list at Bestbuy

As a longtime Tablo user or even enthusiast, I can't say that I'm pleased with this purchase. I've been using my 2-tuner legacy Tablo for years with little trouble, but I simply wanted to watch and record more TV simultaneously. This new Tablo sets up as easily as the last one and has free TV listings, but it's missing so many great features: I can't watch from my web browsers on my computers, the interface is bit clunkier and less responsive than the previous one, and I'm finding that it crashes a lot. The Roku that I watch it through just shows its home screen suddenly and I have to restart it. I understand how a new product release can be, and perhaps the makers of the Tablo have given us a minimum viable product and hope to have some bugs worked out with firmware upgrades doled out in future sprints from their dev teams, but all I can say is: disappointed.

I've been using Tablo for about a year now. I added a 5 terabyte external drive to provide (effectively for my purposes) unlimited dvr. It serves all 4 TV's in the house with our 18 local broadcast channels. It automatically records all the broadcast airings of NFL and college football games. DVR playback could be improved upon (fast-forward and rewind preview display) and I expect that it will but it's a great idea, well implemented and reliable performance.

We have been using this Tablo for over a month. It works on and off...pauses, locks up, goes back to guide, buffers, and have to reboot constantly. I think Tablo launched this too soon. Support keeps saying they are aware of the issues and are working on fixing them. Also, Samsung TVs are extremely popular and Tablo does not work on Samsung TVs (but Tablo says it is coming soon).

It seems to work really well over the last 3 weeks, Setting it up was a little buggy. The instructions should clearly state that your phone has to be on the same network as the Tablo before you start the setup process, or you will lose the connection an must do a factory reset and start over.

Keeps losing connection. Had for one year and giving up on it. This happens all the time and after it was supposed to record important games? Going to the bin...

Could not get other tv's to receive antenna signal . Had an update right off the bat which would not download without being hooked up hard wire . Customer service was absolutely horrible ( not U.S. based ) very hard to understand ! Very disappointed ! had to return to store only to find out the 30 money back guarantee is only thru Tablo (15 days at Best Buy ) !Had to get store credit !

Overall this product does what I needed it to do. The product I was using previously was very glitchy and would sometimes really mess up recording my programs. I have noticed that the Tablo can be slow to respond, and occasionally will throw me out while watching a recording, but it is a simple matter to just go back in and pick up where I left off since it does resume playback.

Did not pick up very well in my area so I had to return it.

We are in a slightly poor reception area, and this device is not very good under those conditions. It will record, but not be able to play programming back. Yet it will directly play current programming in fine shape.

Great Product; Get to see all my favorite local channels for free and a live guide for my channels for free.

Easy solution to cut the cord and watch live local sports

Montis as an upgrade from earlier generation, Tablo. It has done everything as advertised and is much easier to use than our dual system. This one as a tuner for four TVs to Samsung and two Vizio have to use Roku for the Samsung sets
