A neat little OTA DVR

It took a little bit to set it up but has been pretty reliable overall. I would recommend an external drive for more storage space. It's not as convenient to use as cable TV but cutting $100 out of our monthly budget by "cutting the cord" is well worth the effort.

Recently found out it's not compatible with Roku. Won't keep the channel I picked to record on, Won't delete shows recorded unless you go out and come back in, doesn’t always record the whole show & sometimes won't record program.

Posted .Hi Mlkirkland- Tablo is absolutely compatible with Roku! There has been a recent update and Roku is set to automatically update so you should be good to go there. If you are continuing to have issues with watching or recording programs, we recommend you make sure your antenna is set up correctly and then run a new channel scan. This should take care of your issues! If not, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support.

Great Solution for OTA

Came from Best Buy. Packed very well. The setup, with an android phone, couldn't have been simpler. I had the product unboxed and running on all TVs in a matter of 10 minutes.

You can't even up date the guide. This is the second one I have owned because the first one quit working. I thought I did something wrong on the first one so I bought the second to find out how it works and it is junk.

It does work on our Amazon TV'S so we are happy.

Since it has 4 tuners, you can DVR or watch 4 stations at the same time. Dead simple to set up and as long as you give it a good antenna feed, you are good to go.

Have frontier fiber 1gb and nothing else buffers. Save your money. Too late for me and BB won't take it back. Lots of reviews on Reddit so do your homework.

Posted .Hmm -- this could be happening for a few reasons. Have you tried hardwiring your Tablo directly to your router with an Ethernet cable? An Ethernet connection is generally significantly faster and more stable. If you're using unsupported external storage -- this could also be causing the buffering. The Tablo TV Knowledge Base has an article on troubleshooting buffering that could help!

This will be great alternative when they get software right. Had trouble adding an external hard drive. Company doesn’t tell you it has to be one with its own power supply. Roku app is iffy to. I got this for local stations but do love having a DVR.

It works great and they are constantly updating and improving the interface.

Also lags an brks up recordings of TV show occasionally. Sound with recording off track could be much better still has some glitches. . seriously glitches when plug in a USB flash drive doesn't work at all
