Tablo Dvr works well and records everything I ask it to. It displays good crisp video playbacks. Unfortunately playbacks are few and far between. The Tablo app sucks. The app is installed on my cellphone, 2 smart tvs, and 5 firesticks. I am lucky if I can get the app to work on any them. Each time I try to watch something the app can't find the Tablo Dvr. I have to unplug the dvr and reinstall the app almost each time I try to playback a recorded video. I also have a third smart tv that I can't even install the app on.

Works ok on iPhone and Google TV. Freezes a lot on Roku. Tablo needs to come out with Apple TV App soon or I will be returning it to Best Buy..

I upgraded from the Tablo Quad, I like with this one how fast forwarding through recordings show the screen so you know where to stop. But you can't play your recordings from your old Tablo. And so far with this one I've not gotten the signal too weak, I think it's because this one has a antenna amplifier

Another streaming device with nothing more to offer. We couldn’t pickup any local air stations and the streaming channels that are included were nothing we wanted to watch.

Unfortunately, was unable to download the app on my tv. I was able to get the antenna set up but tablo would not pull in local channel to view or record.It would not pick up local channels. I gave up because it was time consuming.

So far, in 3 weeks time, i love my Tablo, works well on all myTelevisions, get all my local channels and more

Great needs more storage space in order to record all programs

I've had for 1 month & in the past I was a cable tv tech for 17 years. The turner is very slow & sluggish. The channel scan constantly doesn't find my strongest local channel & I have to scan over & over. I've turned the internal antenna amp on & off, no help. My 10 year old series 3 Tivo works so much better. I'm beyond my return period and regret buying this, Unfortunately I can't recommend this unit.

Had this Tablo for 6 months and it died. Bestbuy only warranties for 3 months. When I contacted tablo. I have gotten no response. The WORST company to deal with. I would never buy tablo or recommend to anyone. BEWARE

Love its ability for recording and easy to install

Using with a ClearStream 4Max outside antenna. Very clear reception of all local channels. Approximately 40 miles from broadcast towers. Had to connect to our router via ethernet cable. Was unable to establish a WiFi connection due to VPN security on our router. No more cable or $70+ streaming bills!

Freezes frequently. Overheated after 3 month. Would not work anymore.

This is a good device. The interface on the Amazon Recast recorder was easier to interface with. This device has a clearer and somewhat more colorful hues display than the recast device. Since the Amazon Recast is no longer available, which is sad, the Tablo is a good option.

As a distributer of OTA content from an attic antenna this is a great unit. As a DVR, not so much. I get very strong signals and good connection between my router an this device and my TV's but the DVR freezes on a consistent basis especially if I', try to watch the beginning of a show I am recording. It's new and it's buggy, this could be a fantastic device if they get the bugs out.

Buffers all the time, can't watch a whole movie or anything else without buffering or losing connection

We love our Tablo. It is so nice not to have to pay a Satellite company for tv. We get 137 channels. We get the local Cincinnati and Dayton channels, plus a ton more. We only pay for internet. We bought an antenna from Cowboy Antennae. We have had no problems.
