Not ready for prime time...

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this Tablo for a week and although it does a nice job of gathering local OTA, there are some strange, inexplicable things going on, mostly with recordings. Tech support is virtually non-existent. Use instruction are hunt and peck. I am stuck with it now as I have no other OTA alternative that allows for antenna in a different room than the TV.

Too many unresolved issues

I did not realize that the company was still working out a lot if rge issues with this product. It should have been offered for free or at a huge discount until such time or made clear the issues that still need to be resolved.

The software is glitchy at best, connectivity can be spotty, etc. I think future versions can be promising, but just not there yet.

And then to get it to start up after installation was a hassle. Maybe it’s just an issue for LG tv’s but the every time I would try to use it I couldn’t find it and would have to search the App Store to see it and open it up. If they really wanted to make this a great product, they should include the ability to record whatever is being played on the screen.

If I unplug my TV and plug it back in, then Tablo will load. This was my only way to record shows, so I just deal with the inconvenience, but it's extremely frustrating!

It's great to record and watch shows at the same time with the 4 tuners. It has some quirky issues but customer support has been helpful.

Plus 50 hours of record time is more then enough. Just as long as you delete when needed. Get a good antenna.
