NO GOOD!!

I would have to reboot it up to FIVE times during a 2 hour period! It didn’t always record the programs it was supposed to or would only record a portion of it. Skipping the commercials and ability to record were the ONLY reasons I purchased this thing. I returned it! DON’T waste your money!!

Would be great if it worked!

Unfortunately that's only about half the time, if that. It is very unstable and does not play back recordings well. Often it simply does not work at all. For example, I try to access it and it tries to make me go through the initial setup all over again. Turning it off/on doesn’t help. I usually just have to wait and usually it works normally the following day. Also, when watching a recording that is still being recorded (like the news for example) it does NOT allow pausing or rewinding or fast forward. If it worked properly consistently it would be wonderful. Sadly, it does NOT, so I can NOT recommend it.

Posted .Hi Tony, sorry to hear you're having a hard time so far.
It sounds like you're encountering some connectivity issues. In this case, rebooting your router and your viewing device as well as the Tablo will help you get back to watching tv sooner.
In general we do allow pausing, rewinding and fast forwarding on in progress recordings with the exception of play back on mobile devices. If that's not the case, don't hesitate to reach out to support with additional details.

Poor reception and picture quality

Titled of having to play with it everyday. Never go to antenna again. Love Hulu and will stay.

Also, resolution of display compared to Tivo is poor.

If you continue to experience poor resolution, adjusting your network settings or connecting via Ethernet might help.

Records TV shows DVR

Waste of time

Don't make the same mistake. Customer service tried to be helpful, but the fact is that this is not a good product. You will be using the reset button frequently, which is frustrating. And, it did not record consistently. And, it overheats. Geez, don't bother.

Wont back warranty/Horrible Tech Support

Company will not stand behind warranty without over burdening you the purchaser. Tech support was horrible and refused to connect me to supervisor repeatedly unless I made a video demonstrating that their device (which was still under warranty) was defective and this was after following all of the other troubleshooting procedures.

Sorry you're running into this.
If you're unable to pick up a local station you may need to reposition your antenna. Beyond that, it might be viable to toggle on or off your Tablo's internal TV amplifier. Depending on the situation you might need an amplifier or a stronger antenna.
