It frequently fails to record TV shows. A great concept, but it needs substantial improvements if it is to meet customer needs.

It's possible that your Tablo DVR's TV amplifier is drowning out your signal. You should be able to switch it off in settings.
This may help with recording as well. If not though, please consider reaching out to our technical support team, they should be able to help.

This is a complete lie! Even though it's perfectly legal to do time shift and PVR in the United States, these idiots, Hisense, have disabled it in this television. Definitely would not buy again!

I am very disappointed in this device. I tried several different locations to place my antenna and was unable to get all local channels clearly and consistently. Not worth the money.

Your TV likely has 1 tuner, whereas your Tablo has 2 - 4. Tuners are great in that they allow you to view/record multiple shows at the same time. However, they also split your signal. This is likely what is happening. A different TV antenna location or a strong TV antenna may work.
