Works well, good range between major cities’ broadcasts. As described.Has lots of streaming choices. Don’t have to watch commercials on recorded programs, which is a huge plus.

Tablo is a fantastic over the air DVR that can accommodate several tv in the household at the same time. With its 4 tunner availability.

Works like a charm, easy to set up, crystal clear recordings. Took a little time getting used to all the features. I added a hardrive for extra storage. It works great. Very Happy

The one thing we needed to cut the cord. Having the option to record to 4 different channels is a game changer. The system works fine. Setup is easy. You only need to make sure your smart tv has the 4th gen tablo app or use a firestick roku or google tv to get the tablo app. Not all smart tvs have the app available. We use this with roku and have sling for the cable channels we watch and record on sling so technically we have 6 tuners, 4 tablo 2 sling. We dont mis cable at all and we think ourtv picture is sharper clearer and better than cable.

This works pretty well, although sometimes it does buffer when watching live tv. Rewinding a few seconds seems to help with this. It's very easy to set up and I love that there are no monthly fees.

Easy to setup and works well with my existing antenna. I bought this to replace an older model. The only thing I like better on the older model was that it worked with windows.

After our TiVo bit the dust I wanted a dvr that was simple and inexpensive.

Not what I expected, from the vague description I thought that it would broadcast the HDTV signal to any smart tv that add the Tablo app loaded on it as long as it was connected to Wi-Fi, but it failed to mention that internet service was needed as well; we have a Wi-Fi router and thought that when the internet goes out we could still watch local tv using the 4 tuner Tablo but that is not the case. Do like that you can record with it.

It’s a little glitchy but over all it’s great not having to pay for streaming tv or cable. I just needed to get local news station and wanted to be able to watch football games. This device helped. Once connected to the antenna and my network. I just installed the app on all my devices.

I get about 140 channels and a free guide. The UI is very easy to navigate. I added an external USB HD which gives me tons of recording space. I’m using the beta AppleTV app that will be released soon. Would recommend.

Bought this new version to replace a failing older unit. Setup was a task. Software is less then desirable for a new and improved system. System reboots often. tried using wired and Wi-Fi and it doesn't seem to help. would recommend looking to other Over the air recorders.

The long-awaited 4th-Gen 4-tuner Tablo is here and it doesn't disappoint! Installation and set up was a snap and using it through my Amazon Fire Cube (2nd Gen) works well. There were a few minor hiccups initially with the Tablo app (for Amazon Fire) but it is recommended that the latest firmware for the unit be installed as soon as you set it up. Caveat: I have a older Firestick attached to a TV in another room which the Tablo app cannot run on so if you plan to use existing Amazon Fire devices, you might have to make sure they will work with the Tablo app. Otherwise, you may have to upgrade them to a newer generation or use some other device (Roku or SmartTV).

easy to find at store and works great! Just make sure to get a decent antenna for it.

Does exactly what we needed it to do! We decided to cut the apron strings with Directv. Best decision we have made. Very easy to use. Able to record everything we need over the air waves using our antenna for the major networks.

The app often cannot find the Tablo device. Then the Tablo unit has to be deleted and added again. I had it in the garage for a while, but it kept overheating and crashing. I moved it in the house and that helped a little, but not much. The app continually searches for the device and updating the guide, then repeats, repeats and repeats this in an endless loop. This is pure junk.

I love this device! The interface is user friendly, the recording option works great, and it was easy to setup!

Needs more work on the software. The 2 tuner is flawless, but somehow this 4 th gen, 4 tuner doesn’t quite get it.

Worthless piece of junk. Had multiple issues with ROKU devices, known in December didn't issue supposed working upgrade until February. The thing still drops off losing the Tablo, even after putting it in the same room as the router . You want to spend half your life reading the Tablo forum and moving it around the house trying to make it work for more than 30 minutes...then this is the device for you. I run numerous other apps for video such as Youtube TV and Frndly tv, or others, and they don't crash or freeze one percent of what this thing does. Bought it right around new years, maybe it has worked for one hour without dropping ..maybe all of two times.

This company is terrible! I bought their 2 tuner model fall 2023 then a year later I wanted the the four tuner model and received it early December 2024. Then the two tuner broke early 2025 and by summer the four tuner broke and it was under warranty but I couldn’t find how to claim it. So finally found out that they had a form on their website and I filled it out. I couldn’t tell if it went through. No response for months so I tried again late September, still no idea if it went through. No response, so I tried one more time in November without hope, obviously no response again. I now don’t like Tablo anymore, I don’t recommend them anymore either. I may try something else but not them again! Save your money and your time and go with something else!
