The 64GB should be enough since I almost always delete after watching. I wanted something inexpensive to record ota TV not often… The picture quality of recorded shows is better than expected using my Roku streaming stick or my android phone. Recording is quick and convenient. I decided to invest in a lifetime guide subscription for $149. Ouch! But worth it if the device keeps running for awhile. I had high hopes for the product as I become a cord cutter. I should have read more reviews. The device only worked 5 minutes for me. I could never get it to reconnect. It gets very hot. I did as they said and contacted them instead of returning it to Best Buy. No one answered the phone it went straight to voice mail. They called back the next day and said they were having phone issues. The "fix" they gave me did not work. On their website on the troubleshooting section others had my same issue. The device is to expensive not to work. I will be returning it to Best Buy.

This is too slow to come up and going thru channel is extremely slow like I am in dial-up world. Also you need to buy subscription($149.99) to stream outside the home.

I had read some reviews on other site about this product and their previous version. This was was supposed to have solved the extra expense of a hard drive, but the space supplied inside it not enough to record much. So it still requires additional purchase - very misleading. They have 2 tuner and 4 tuner options that are cheaper than this new one that make more sense for the price however the supposed Wifi on board is effectively useless and does not work well - i cannot watch video this way in my home - it is terrible. Pro - works on my Roku Cons - price of a complete set up / wifi is terrible

I was gifted a Tablo. For a few months it ran well so I purchase a lifetime subscription so I could see TV on my phone. For two days I could see TV on my phone. Never more. The Tablo on TV works sometimes. We had switch to streaming. Tablo support says it is our internet carrier; however, everything else Nis working fine. Also people on other carriers are experiencing the same problem. From the internet it appears if your TV or phone has an upgrade you are screwed. Do Not Buy unless you like to cuss a lot. This thing is so aggravating. But I am so upside down in money I keep praying each day it will work. Buy something else and research the reviews. I hate this thing so much. Please save yourself.

So Tablo arrived today (on time!) and I was pretty excited to get this thing hooked up so I could complete my cord cutting mission. Well, what a complete disappointment it was. I followed the quick setup exactly and could not get it to connect via ethernet or wifi. Tried multiple times to reboot, power cycle, and even factory reset per Tablo website troubleshooting...and no dice! It would not respond to anything I tried. This thing apparently was DOA. I'll be returning tomorrow to the local BB store and will try an exchange, which will take another couple days because these units are not in stock. I'll update my review accordingly based on my customer service experience and how well attempt #2 goes with exchange unit. What a let down!

The overall experience is good, but the receiver is poor. On all my tvs in the house I get all my local channels, on the table however, I only get a few. I really wanted this to work.

I bought this device because you can supposedly access your dvr recording when your away from home. However, after setting it up with customer service, they advised me that there is a known issue with TMobile devices and you cannot stream remotely when you're not on the same network as your Tablo. That defeats the whole purpose of why I bought it. Also, after setting up all my shows to record, I noticed that 2 tuners are not enough to record and there ends up being conflicts with my programming. Will be returning ASAP for another brand that has 4 tuners.

I changed my Wi-Fi password and I was not able to get help on how to connect to Tablo again.

Tablo is absolutely the worst thing I ever purchased. I have to reboot it daily. Every three days I had to redownload the app to the TV. This was the worst. Thing I ever bought you can get all the Regular Show true Hulu. Don't waste your time or money buying Tablo.
