can't use leftover balance

I have like $3 left and every time I try to use it, the taco bell app just charges the full amount to my card instead of draining the remaining gift card balance first

Cannot be used at register for payment

No way to use in store for payment. For mobile orders only, so beware. Would be nice if it was usable as a normal payment method when buying my burritos!
