No straw and no pressure from having a straw for the drink to come out. It’s a great container for kids on the go and sports. It keeps the drink cold for a very long time. The only thing I don’t like is the seal for the spout it’s so small it’s hard to get that rubber seal out every time I have to wash it.

So overall for the price it did not meer my expectations.

And continue to remain warm for 2 hours. You just have to make sure that the spout cover is really close to make sure that the liquid inside wont spill. I bought 7 different kinds of takeya bottles. I am just an Obsessed buyer.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The perfect water bottle -- metal for strength but not too heavy, removeable top for ease in adding ice and washing the inside, attached screw spout cover that won't pop off when I drop the bottle, silicone? rubber? base so it doesn't turn in the car cupholder when I unscrew the spout cover with one hand BUT ALSO is removable so I can easily slide the bottle into a backpack side pocket. I have the 18-oz for every day, but this 22-oz is better for strenuous activity where I'll be drinking a lot of water. Note: I got this one very much on sale.
