Definitely perfect for the kids that play sports. This was purchased specifically for my little one, as he plays baseball and this heat can be brutal. It holds 2 water bottles including ice.

So I use craft ice to fill the bottoe with then add my water. When I say that my ice and watr stay in the bottle all day and night it really does.
