If you’re into Jrpgs of any kind this is a no brainer

I think is a good game if do you like the jrpg I prefer games with really good graphics but ie a repetitive game sometimes

I'm enjoying this game if you've played a tales game you know what to expect

Phenomenal game, one of the best RPGs of the last decade

First Tales game and I got to say it did not disappoint.

This game is good but def not what i was expecting for cheap its worth a buy for sure

Item was super late again even though preordered it months before it came out.. disc was loose and scratched.. been buying from Best Buy a lot in the past and think this is my last purchase always late and poor shipping everytime. Very disappointing.. :(

I'm only the 2nd review? Shame - if any Tales game deserved a 5 star from someone who rarely reviews games, this is the one. First of all, performance on the PS5 is astounding - specifically load times, save times, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, battle times. Jump into a fight, split second to load, and fight ends immediately when you're done and exp stats show on the side while you roam again. I'm going to compare to games like Persona 5, and say it just takes too long waiting for animations and looking at your loot/xp while Arise does it perfectly. Second, combat is solid. AI does a great job staying busy, healing at the right time (I've only tried one strategy though) and best of all, the skill effects are amazing. Nothing you've seen in a Tales game before, the art direction and amount of particles combined is 10/10. The rest? Story is so far so good, it'll keep your attention and the map can be linear but worth a few mins to explore each time. Normally I can't deal with back to back cutscenes but with everything considered, Tales of Arise does it well and I've made an exception due to solid voice acting, character personalities and unique traits about them, and how great the scenes look.

Looks like a PS2 game! Story isn't interesting either. I bought it after reading reviews from what I'm guessing are weird amine people giving it rave reviews.

The story is entertaining and the characters are likeable. The gameplay is smooth and the controls are easy to understand. If you like the final fantasy series I recommend this game.

I like RPGs. Most are silly with over dramatic acting, but I usually like the stories and game play. This is a good game with typical RPG goofiness. Im not very far yet, but already the story has grabbed me. Its not as graphicallypolished as a Square game, but it is fun. First boss proved to be a challenge, soits not a total breeze. Worth the Black Friday salefor sure

Solid modern Japanese RPG. Got it on sale. Worth it for under $20

This game is truly impressive on so many levels. Too bad I didn’t buy it here from BB. The PS5 version was never available…. until the sale was over. Literally, at the stroke of midnight when the sale ended, it was available to buy at full price.
