Customers admire the 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC All-in-One Zoom Lens for Nikon's image quality and versatility, frequently praising its performance for the price and ease of use, especially for travel. Many appreciate its ability to avoid the need for constant lens changes. However, some users note that the autofocus speed could be improved, particularly in low-light conditions.

Picture quality not sharp and clear. I took 100 pictures and non of them came out clear with several settings I tried. Best Buy won’t do anything except give me a store credit so I’m stuck with it. Beware if you’re considering it.

The lens doesn't focus will. Between the 55-200 lens that came with my nikon d5100 and tamron the tamron doesn't zoom in close as the nikon lens and fine focus is still a, slight blurr. Being a long time photographer this is a cheap lens. Better to save for a good nikon 18-200 lens. The convenience is not worth it. I'll continue switching lenses to get quality.

I ordered over the internet a camera lens. The performance was awful, so I returned it a few days later. Was surprised with a $30 return fee.

I have two lens, the kit Nikon 18-55mm and the 55-200mm upgrade lens. With this lens I was able to replace the 55-200mm lens. The construction of the Tamron is better and feels better too. I am still keeping my 18-55mm kit lens when shooting indoors just to keep the weight down and the overall length down as well. The lens came with a free hood in the box

Amazing lens for the price. I used to use Nikkor kit lens, and 70-300 .. I was tired of changing lens every time. Tameron 18-200 quality is no less than Nikkor.. and I don't need to care about changing lenses .

I was tired of switching lens to achieve shots, so I investigated the available options for a 18-200 (300) lens that who give me the performance I was looking for shooting. This lens is it and it is affordable. It takes very good pictures. I would recommend it for a beginner /novice seeking to expand into the all in one zoom category without having to take the hit of a $600 lens.

This is a good lense, allowing a much wider range of adjustment than the other two lenses it replaced, without any drop in quality

DO NOT BUY THIS LENS

the price may be temptable, and the 18-200 focal length is perfect for every day, it does not take good photos. i used to use a nikon 18-55 that came ewitg my camera, and everything came out very clear and sharp. When i switched to this, i put the photos side by side, and noticed that the tamron focuses very poorly, and the sharpness of the image is abysmal. I read about this lens on google, and amazon, and best buy, and they all showed very mixed reviews. Sharpness was one of the main concerns in many of the negative reviews. Also, best buy had mostly positive reviews on it so i figured "it can't be that bad, its still gotta be decent" but i was very wrong and i am extremely disappointed in this lens. do not buy it
