Good quality and the range is excellent. Not too heavy when mounted on the camera either. Full zoom is good and the picture quality is great.

I have serveral lens in my camera bag but this one takes the place of most of them. I wanted a lens that was easy to handle, easy to maneuver, not to bulky, looks good and fits easy in your hand. This lens incorporates all of that. Whether close up or far away this lens makes it easy to follow your subject and get a great picture

I’ve been eyeing this lens for over a year and finally got it. I’m very happy with the purchase. It solves the problem of switching between lens, and the images are clear. At the full zoom, you may want to think about a tripod.

I think It is good and can zoom from super far away which is pretty awesome. I can't get it to focus sometimes, but I am still a newbie at photography so maybe that's just the case. Otherwise, It works great for my Cannon camera.

I am no photographer. I bought this so I wouldn’t have to interchange my lenses on my Canon 80D. My untrained eye thinks the photos from this lens are pretty decent. Only drawback, and it’s a doozy, is the heaviness and bulkiness of the lens. Makes one’s neck sore.

A wonderful lens for my T7i. The zoom is effortless and take amazing night time pictures of the moon. Not a lot of detail lost. Needs to be shot on a tripod for long range shoots.

I use a Canon 7D Mark II and since the Tamron 18-400mm pairs only with APS-C cameras, it has been very convienient just to carry a single lens rather have multiple lenses. Professionals mights not like the image quality when shooting beyond 300mm but does a great job for shooting pictures upto 250mm. Overall, a great lens and the only one you will need especially during travel.

I looked at a lot of reviews before buying this lens. While it's not perfect, it's picture quality is in the 'Very Good' category for sure.
Nice wide angle and quite a lot of reach with that 400 MM zoom!

This is not the first lens I've purchased. In fact I have 4 different types of Canon Lenses. But this LITTLE guy does it all! I'll never need to swap out a lens to get that right angle again. From 18-400mm. This big boy does it all! Very happy with my new lens

Great lens! Ive never used any brand of lens outside of Canon. But just cant afford canon brand in a lens this size. Got this lens as a birthday present and was excited to try it out. I use a Canon rebel T5, and the lens works great with it. Took a little bit to get used to because its backwards lol this lens is opposite to canon when it comes to twisting it to zoom in and out. But overall great lens!

Great lens. I tried to use this with a canon m50 mark II but it’s too big and heavy. Trying to zoom in would be a problem and would cause the lens to stick a bit
Works much better with canon r7.
Great for zoom and travel photography since you won’t have to change lenses.
It is very heavy and hard to be discreet because of the lens size.

Great lens with high quality images. Provide a dynamic range to capture images ranging from landscape to sports photography. Would recommend paring with the Canon EF body system. Will work with Canon RF body system via adapter.

This 18-400mm lens is a good distance lens while allowing wide angle too.
I tested for distortion on linear things while using wide angle end; I didn't see any... Zoom is great, a teeny tiny bit of chromatic aberration when max zoomed and backlit...

18mm-400mm promises a versatile, single travel lens. Unfortunately, it is very very heavy and really prone to vibration blur -despite having a stabilization feature. There is no mid-barrel tripod socket so even when mounting the camera to a tripod, the heavy weight of the lens really tests the durability of the lens mount and results in lots of lens shake (especially evident when taking videos).

If you believe that your DSLR or mirrorless camera take better photos than your iPhone then this lens is for you. It’s an all around lens, the lens that you take in a trip. It’s not a lens to shoot a wedding or perfect portraits. I’m using in an R7 with an adapter.
