I was looking at the Canon lens at close to $3000.00 this one is about $700.00. The pictures so far have been very clear, and sharp so I am very satisfied.

Tamron 18-400mm lens I purchased at Best Buy is a great value. I used it on a Canon 77D that I took to Asia. This takes very good photos and was the only lens I took.

Great lens, very versatile! When you have a limited budget it makes sense to get a "jack of all trades" lens. While it is hardly a BIC lens anywhere from 18-400, it gets the job done well enough at any focal length to make sure I keep this lens on my camera at all times. If I can only bring one lens, it is this one.

After purchasing this lens, it is stuck on my camera. I mean, I'm having a hard time using another lens after using this one. This lens is a superb addition to my collection.

Haven’t taken enough photos to rate the quality. Can tell you it’s heavy though. With the test photos I have taken without a tripod they don’t appear blurry

Super Zoom is a fitting description promising only one lens to go from 18mm-400mm BUT lens is very heavy so even with tripod, lens is suspended poorly so image very shaky... built in vibration control does not work with tripod... pictures often blurry but videos are the worst... even the wind makes the rig shake -wish mount was built onto lens barrel instead of straining from camera mount.

This is a replacement lens for my husband. He really enjoys being able to use just one lens to take all of his pictures. The range is excellent and the pictures turn out awesome!!
