Great lens. If you don’t want to take a large zoom lens, this one is great. Light weight.

For about the same price as the Nikon 18-300mm this lens is the better buy since it can go 100mm more. But it's actually about 600mm on a crop sensor Nikon which is a plus. I did notice lens distortion at 18mm but that was expected with these type of lens. Overall I'm impressed and very pleased with this.

I got this lens for the multi use aspect. While I am still learning my camera it is by far one of my favorites. I can’t wait to learn and grow with it!

For what it is designed to do, this is a good lens. Some so called experts put down the quality and capabilities, perhaps because they are very active users, or have the resources to purchase the expensive Nikon lenses. For a relative novice, like me, it's perfect.

I used this lens for a trip to Yellowstone, thanks to the lens I have closeups of all kinds of wildlife including bald eagles in flight . I highly recommend this lens, it compares to lenses twice the price.

I purchased this lens for travel but more important for shooting my grandkids at soccer. It takes a very nice picture. My only complaint but not a deal breaker is that the focus ring is stiff compared to a Nikon lens.

This is a great add to my equipment for my camera. 18mm to 400mm, you can use this for almost anything. one of the issues is, that is not that fast at focusing at night, but other than that, I think this is all I hve found wrong with it.

This lens is great for both wide angle shots and zooming in on distant shots. It is a great all purpose lens . Only have had it for a short time, but so far I am very happy with the lens. In the past I had to carry multiple lenses and switch them out in the field or carry multiple cameras with the different lenses.

This lens is amazing. Ring is smooth and not too tight. Picture quality is fantastic. This is the best all-in-one lens for the money!

Very good lens for beginners. Such huge range of zoom makes easy to operate DSLR. Camera is always ready to get nice snaps as no need for lens change

This is a great lens ---- especially for the price. I bought it for a Nikon camera and have been very happy with the results I've gotten. The two shots I've attached are handheld with VC switched on. The lens seems to be sharpest at around f/8. The lens is very well made and it's not too big or heavy. The zoom and focus rings move smoothly. The only negative I have is with the hood; it seems a little fragile, but that's not a big deal. I own another Tamron lens (70-200mm f/2.8 G2) that I use with my Nikon D850 and it's great too.

I purchased this lens to be an all-inclusive addition to my camera gear. So far it has been great. It's a bit heavier than my other lenses but not to the point where it is unwieldly. It follows well while zoomed in and grabs focus well. Tamron makes great lenses and I am very happy with this.
