It's nothing new to say this is a great lens. You get 90+% of the qualities of Sony's G Master lenses at 50-60% of the price. If you have a lot of money to burn, buy the G Master if you want to, but the smart money is on this lens.

Awesome lens! Quick, sharp and much needed option other than Sony brand considering price point. Weight isn't too bad and manageable. The 2.8 is a great add for those looking for an everyday lens.

I use a Sony A7RIV and I have a few G Master lenses. This lens was exactly what I was looking for. Even though it wasn't quite a "g master" quality it makes up for in weight and quality of the image.

I got this with the Sony A7 III body I just purchased. It takes amazing photos and was real value compared to the GM lens. This is my first step up to a full frame so I couldn’t imagine more weight than this.

This lens works so well for studio, publication, and other professional purposes. Good lens for a range of expertise and skill. I use it for webcam streaming also and it works beautifully!

The lens is sharp and provide coverage for a lot of focal lengths. Not as fast as some primes, but it's an easy grab and go lens for a wide variety of scenarios. This is especially true if size isn't an issue. There are some auto focus issues compared to my native Sony lenses, but not enough for me to jot recommend this lens.

If you’re looking for a versatile lens for a great price then I would highly recommended this one!

This has been my workhorse lens for the last 2.5 years for my Sony A7siii. Autofocus is good and image is very nice.

The lens work out well on a photo shoot using for the first time. It was versatile for the open area taking shoots. Buy this lens if you don’t have money for the Sony native 24-70 GM f2.8.

I can’t believe it took so long to get this... Yes I should have got this a long time when I first bought my A7iii. This lens is sharp, very responsive and produces an overall great image. The value you get this lens is unbelievable. Only con is that this does not have image stabilization built into the lens, but if your camera has image stabilization then you are all good. Who is this lens for? If this is your first time into Sony cameras, this is the lens. If you are looking to expand your lens collection to a more professional grade, this is it.

My go to photography and video lens, works fine and photos look great. Great autofocus and very sharp, back ground separation is good too.

Great lens for kids portrait photography. Wide enough for groups but great to have that zoom range. Pictures always come out super sharp!

a must have lens.very very sharp lens at a great price. i have paired it with the Sony A7III. this is my walk around lens now, thanks to the 2.8 aperture

Quick focus on my A7III. Great alternative 20 24-70mm at less than half the price. Lens is light enough to walk around with the whole day.

Solid lens, if youre on a budget and looking to pick up some decent glass this lens is fantastic

If you only have the money to buy one lens and you want to do a variety of different shoots, this is the one! This is my 4th lens that I’ve bought for my A7iii and it’s my favorite all around lens! It does everything well and I have no issues with it! There was no way I was going to buy the GM version. It can’t be that much better at more than double the price because this one is excellent!

Used it while traveling and it takes quality shots! Clear pictures of course with great depth. I love the range it provides

I've been wanting to buy 24-70mm lens for my sony mirrorless camera but they're always expensive. Then I saw this in bestbuy, I patiently read all the reviews and Q&As which made me decide to buy this instead. It didn't disappoint me on my first use, it's fast in focusing and sharp even in higher f-stops. It feels heavier than expected but the awesome pictures I'm getting outweighs that for me. Very good bokeh at f2.8, I am in awe of how powerful and sharp this is at low light.
