    the original native lens is the best option for any camera-according to sales expert at a local camera shop. But my approach is different. I do not have profession in photo but we are still living in a transition era for dslr - mirrorless. The one of undisputable advantage of mirrorless FF is the size. tamron got rid of anything that doesnt effect optics and made the smallest and lightest mid-zoom f2.8 If the money was not option i might have suggested going back to dslr with such a full featured lens.

    This is a great walk around all purpose lens, while it doesn't match the 24-70 F1.8 GM its still a great option. Plus it will save you a lot of money. If your working on a budget, this is a great option and you won't be disappointed​ at all.
