I take photos of swimmers and the focus on this lens is in par with the best. I’ve also tried stills and taking photos of squirrels in the backyard and I’ll let you be the judge with the photos I’ve included. Overall this lens is a beast especially for it price getting you to 400mm with sharpness.

I was surprised by the sharpness it produces in your photos, even at 400mm. Light weight, so you can hand-hold the lens for hours. It really is compact for this size of lens. This is an outdoor lens and it does gather plenty of light, even on those cloudy days.
