    I had been wanting to buy this Tamron lens for quite some time. My only regret is that I waited so long! I love bird watching and nature photography so this is perfect. This bad boy is heavy so you will need some type of tripod or stand to support the extra weight.

    Bought this lens intending to use it for baseball action shots and it did not disappoint! A monopod is a must when using this lens though, very heavy!

    Good lens for the price, used it to shoot bears on my trip to alaska. The photos were really sharp till 300mm, not very sharp beyond 500mm but still good.

    Purchased this camera to take on vacation to Yellowstone. it worked great.The pictures turned out wonderful. The only downside is the weight. The tripod is worth it.
