I picked this lens after doing my research. I’m new to photography and wanted an affordable lens that would help me develop as a photographer. The only downside for me is that it is heavy. I purchased a monopod to make using easier.

This 150-600 mm lens from Tamron is a very good lens, especially for the price. If you want a sharper or clearer lens at this focal length, you have to pay the difference for a name brand Nikon. Unless you can afford to spend more for the Nikon, I would recommend this lens.

Works great for shooting deer out in the field . I'm happy with the sharpness of it price was a little bit high and it doesn't take a double on it with a Canon camera I have.
