I used the tamron G2 with canon 6D. I tried to find better quality as the own canon lens. Fortunately, I found almost same quality with canon and it was the best price when I compare b/w the canon lens. Also, I was able to find this US warranty (6 years!)

I purchased and returned TWO 70-200 Canon white lens and both were duds. A photo store guy told me about this Tamron lens and said that the Tamron rep all but admitted that Tamron makes the 70-200 2.8 lens FOR Canon. I was skeptical, but saved $500 and bought the Tamron. I have never looked back. It's been an awesome lens. The only thing I don't like is that the focus and zoom rings are the reverse of Canon.....
