    Been looking for a 70-200 for a while now and after reading and listening to so many reviews I finally decided to purchase the Tamron 70-200. It has a great bokeh and at 200 plenty of length for some portrait photographs. At 70 its great as well. The 2.8 give great bokeh at all lengths and the 3 stage VC works really well for plenty of hand held photos. This lens is a perfect lens for any photographer looking for a longer lens for shooting distance or close up photographs.

    Absolutely love this lens, great buy for the price and elevates your sessions. Very heavy if holding manual and buy vr stability helpsyour shot if not using a tripod.

    I could not believe how heavy this lens is. Cannot imagine carry this lens for more than 1 hour. There is little forgiveness for photos that are taken slightly unstable even with the VC on. This, in my opinion is a tripod only lens. Returned and got hit with a 15% restocking fee!
